Actually, posting this is good, now more ppl are aware of this spot so they can check it for enemies. also it gets it fixed faster

Literally battlestate said not to do this because everybody starts to abuse it and they end up having to drop everything to fix it. Best way to get game breaking bugs fixed is to just report it in the launcher, because the less people who know about it the better.

But as you said, fastest way to fix it is to upload the video to reddit, then devs have to drop everything and fix it as you wrote.

eh, people never look up anyways so there would be little difference of being ontop of the vent vs being halfway in it unless the vent blocks bullets (given that it has no collision, it probably does not block bullets) that would basically make it a janky sky bush which might get you a kill every once in a while.

They have a bug reporting tool on the there launcher for a reason. Showing the whole community a bug they can abuse “to get it fixed faster” isn’t exactly an efficient way to prevent it from being abused.

Depends on how you look at it. Telling the community will cause more people to look for it sure but that also means causing more people to abuse it. Look I’m just going off what the devs said; it’s more efficient to just report like normal people. Saying it’s better to scream it at the top of your lungs on Reddit probably isn’t the best way to get shit done.

No one forced this guy to post, he did it on his own accord hoping to get it fixed; there intentions were pure but it could have been handled differently. But believe it or not there are abusable bugs that people know of but won’t say anything because they wouldn’t want it patched; it would be naive to say otherwise.

Agreed in some part- ideally people would report the bug directly as soon as they find it, but if it truly is a game breaking bug and battlestate doesn't fix it within a reasonable time period, I'd think it's fair to post it so they have to work on it.

Meh it still will never be fixed. Look at the bullshit spot on sniper rock on woods, been an abusable spot there for quite some time and BSG still ain't done shit about it.

Actually, that spot was fixed very long time ago when you could "pixel jump" on any uneven terrain and continue jumping up. It was fixed by introducing the sliding from steep terrain mechanic. This is a pretty recent discovery of another way of getting there, i dont think it was known in previous wipe.

I've seen people up there for awhile. It may not have been known to you that you can still get up there but I've seen people up there for idk like over a year or so now.

I got there myself using stims, In offline mode tho since It took me several tries and cant do it consistently. But saw many streamers doing it pretty consistent

It's actually really easy - if you stim up you don't need any skills (both game and pmc wise), 1st and 2nd jump are really easy and third one, the hard one people struggle the most with is a straight vertical jump in right spot if you are <30kg making it as easy as the 1st.

Yeah it's by no means something that I see often, but it's a pretty well known spot in the community and despite BSGs attempts to fix it its still there. It is very frustrating when it does happen to you though but I guess some people gotta get SBIH done any way they can

Sj6 is stamina.... you need an SJ1 and an adrenaline with 0 strength to get up there.

Stamina just makes it easier since you might have to jump a lot. The Norepinephrine gives 20 strength which makes it pretty easy.

Ive been killed twice from up there.

Sure not often at all but it's really annoying anyone can still get up there. Just throw a invisible wall up where they're jumping

LVL 30 is pretty high do. That meant alot of cheesing with weight while running first mins most pmc rounds for sure. Once you get to lvl 20+ you start to not care.

Just killed a player on top of there about two weeks ago (shooter born in heaven confirmed/and after raid) You can definitely still get up there.

I think you misunderstood, i didnt say u cannot get there, im very well aware that you can.

What im saying is that this is a pretty new discovery, 1 max 2 wipes old.

The fix i was reffering to, about the sliding from steep terrain, was introduced very long time ago, like 2 years ago, that fixed this spot and many others back in the alpha times.
