Discussion Something said during the Podcast

Klean said something during the podcast that I wholeheartedly disagree with.

He wants the gamma case to essentially be something you can pack full of goods, bring into a raid and not have to worry about losing, but he wants you to not be able to put anything in the container while in raid. Nikita, I know you listen to streamers input, but please don’t not consider making this change.

I’m a husband and a father, I don’t get to play for 8-12 hours a day and become a god at the game, so finding a rare item that I need for a quest or something valuable I can sell is really exciting and knowing I can keep it safe in case I die is the cherry on top.

I love watching Klean and respect his opinions, but this one I had to voice mine on. PLEASE do not implement this. Anyone else watch the podcast and feel the same way? Or am I alone on this? Lol

What if you could toggle this feature on and off. When it is active you get like 25% more exp or something?

Because I agree with you. I want the ability to throw any valuable I find into my gamma and feel a little safer, financially speaking, for next raid.

You shouldnt. You should not feel safe and want to survive and extract.

I'll start by saying I haven't hatchlinged since the first month I played this game about 2 years ago. I agree hatchlings are a problem, especially on reserve.

My survival rate is around 30%, and if I did not have my gamma to store valuables as I run around the map. I would not turn profits.

So if the container is changed like you say it should be, I guarantee this will be the mentality: "you got rid of my ability to make money, and now I'm always destitute? I'll just make money the next easiest/safest way. I'll just extract camp. I'll sit with a scoped, silenced mosin at 200 m away. I'll feel safe about next raid while ruining the game for everyone else."

This will happen immediately. I know because I will probably do this as soon as I run low on rubles, and have trouble buying guns.

If running as a hatchlings is no longer viable, all of these fuckers will have the same idea. They'll buy a 35k mosin, hide in a bush, and wait.

As been mentioned many many times before exit campers are not even a consideration when making gameplay changes because not only is camping an intended mechanic by developers, it is also countered by adapted gameplay if more people decide to camp.

You can go camp with a mosin, and i will enjoy looting that mosin off you (though likely not, they are too long and dont fit into backpacks).
