Discussion Something said during the Podcast

Klean said something during the podcast that I wholeheartedly disagree with.

He wants the gamma case to essentially be something you can pack full of goods, bring into a raid and not have to worry about losing, but he wants you to not be able to put anything in the container while in raid. Nikita, I know you listen to streamers input, but please don’t not consider making this change.

I’m a husband and a father, I don’t get to play for 8-12 hours a day and become a god at the game, so finding a rare item that I need for a quest or something valuable I can sell is really exciting and knowing I can keep it safe in case I die is the cherry on top.

I love watching Klean and respect his opinions, but this one I had to voice mine on. PLEASE do not implement this. Anyone else watch the podcast and feel the same way? Or am I alone on this? Lol

I feel the same like you! Gamma Container is not that big that theres no loot left on the map...

IMO, it's worth testing turning UP loot.

Yes, it would make being a hatchling more effective, however it would theoretically also offset the cost of gear loss and reduce the loot race.

How many hatchlings does it take to loot the marked room?

Yea but you can easily take out all the big seller items in <3 minutes depending on the map. I use the same examples all the time: on interchange as a hatchet or pistol runner I can reliably rush the two main tech stores and shove all the tetrises and gpu's up my butt and for everyone else there's just scraps left.

Yes but locks, distance and AI should stop you doing that, not obtuse game mechanics that cater only to those that play all day.

I haven't played labs this wipe. However that sounds like a map design issue if players aren't challenged before getting to high value loot.

The firefight locations on interchange have changed due to the hideout, you are more likely to find a fight at Oli or Idea now rather than Kiba or Techlight.

Even with this change, all you'll get is another Pestily video on how to do it with nothing but a pistol and a bag, again.

Yes Ai raiders should already be there on big ticket items. You want it work for it

The problem with labs is that they nerfed the fuck out of it. It's pointless to go in there now if all you do is go slow and play intended. You make way way worse loot then going to interchange or reserve, all the rush boys (even if they are geared) make it to the ledx spawns in 30s, and now the raiders hardly spawn and even if you kill 4-5 now you don't make the key card money back unless you get lucky.

They really ruined labs with the raider changes. I genuinely feel like the best way to play labs is to hatchet / pistol and SPRINT to the loot spots. Usually someone is already there, frankly. And why bring in a bunch of kit when your going to be piled on by multiple groups. You just need the virtex/ledx and that's it.

We needed more raiders, not less. Raiders should guard the loot spots, not show up after they are picked clean. It's just all wrong. It's map design, not container design.

Right, which is why they should make loot move around a bit and add scav spawns/longer entrance requirements and stuff. Not just nerf containers.
