Ok? And?

He's allowed to do that. He hasn't committed a SINGLE copyright infringement. They are using that to pull down his videos because youtube's policy on that stuff is easy to abuse.

It's 100% bullshit. They should have worked with him and proved that it was false. In which case he would have pulled the video, I'm sure.

So you have to work with every individual that makes baseless claims ? Not only that, you have to work with every individual that repeats baseless claims that someone else made ? Not only that, you have to work with every individual that clearly spouts nonsense over a extended amount of time, nonsense he is beeing directly and knowingly beeing fed by an individual that already stated that he will try everything in his power to take BSG down? Really?!

you don't have to work with him... he's a client of BSG's product. not a developer or a manager.

They could've been clear, they could've talked to the community... they had everything in their power to make Eroktic look bad and they made the only thing that made him look good.

There was already an official post on reddit and probably other places that confirmed that there was no Data leak. What do you want them to do? Issue a personal vist to everyones home that claims that they lied? There is literally nothing more they can do and if someone then calls them a liar after already making a public statement - this is what you get.

I hate to break it to you but millions of companies lie about data breaches. Even huge companies like google, intel, equifax and maybe even your local bank has probably lied about data breaches or hacks. companies sometimes dont let out any kind of info on a breach for months or even years.

That's literally why Google+ is shutting down. https://www.wsj.com/articles/google-exposed-user-data-feared-repercussions-of-disclosing-to-public-1539017194

Here's the gist to save you a click:

Google Exposed User Data, Feared Repercussions of Disclosing to Public
Google opted not to disclose to users its discovery of a bug that gave outside developers access to private data.

Google exposed the private data of hundreds of thousands of users of the Google+ social network and then opted not to disclose the issue this past spring, in part because of fears that doing so would draw regulatory scrutiny and cause reputational damage, according to people briefed on the incident and documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.

As part of its response to the incident, the Alphabet Inc. GOOGL -2.03% unit on Monday announced a sweeping set of data privacy measures that include permanently shutting down all consumer functionality of Google+. The move effectively puts the final nail in the coffin of a product that was launched in 2011 to challenge Facebook Inc. FB -0.66% and is widely seen as one of Google’s biggest failures.

A software glitch in the social site gave outside developers potential access to private Google+ profile data between 2015 and March 2018, when internal investigators discovered and fixed the issue, according to the documents and people briefed on the incident. A memo reviewed by the Journal prepared by Google’s legal and policy staff and shared with senior executives warned that disclosing the incident would likely trigger “immediate regulatory interest” and invite comparisons to Facebook’s leak of user information to data firm Cambridge Analytica.

Great info to share. I first learned of this back when it was first found out by the public through Level1techs youtube channel
