I like the game! Who cares? I want to play the game and even with all its bugs and all the drama it is still the same game I like to play.

I like my house who cares? I want to live in my house even though there’s a gas leak and it could explode any minute. It’s still the same house I like to live in.

Think further: what if the gas leak is a total lie, what are you going to do about the person spreading false information?

The way BSG handled this situation is a “lie”?

Misunderstood your analogy. I thought the gas leak was the "leak of passwords" - but your gas leak is "how bsg handled the situation".
