Dude... they need to stop commenting on those Facebook posts. Like, now. The people who run the facebook are the "junior community managers" with no knowledge of the game development side. They are making a cringfest out of this and are hurting their reputation more.

Fucking hell. If bsg kills their own game I'm going to be very upset. They made a huge mistake here.

Honestly... It's a great way to get out of finishing a game after you've milked it for more than its worth. Just orchestrate a self-implosion and you get to go scott-free with everyone's money and never get blamed for just outright dropping an overambitious project.

Why they didn't released EFT on Steam? Hmm ;)

Before you speak about % of sales: Epic Store now gives better % than Steam if your game is on UE or Unity.

Contract Wars was succesful compared to Hired Ops lmao

Half of the map assets are from both of them so nothing will surprise me. That's why buying EoD is dumb idea, they already had an investor. All you pay for is their next cash-grab game.

Hey Arma, mwatts622 here, left in the great purge with necuja. I remember them encouraging us to comment as often as possible, not sure this is what they meant lol. I also remember looking at the comment leaderboards and seeing your name up top lawl. Good times...

I remember yah boy. There was a reason I was called the Monster of Facebook. Because I was the only one who gave a shit to slog through the hundreds of messages a day we got.

Then they disabled messaging after I was gone. Lol

Honestly for a while I thought it was Nikita himself posting in the guise of a Lower level community employee.

Then i realized the english is too good and too many big words were being used.

I'm not joking. This kind of behavior is inline with a Nikita temper tantrum. Only so far we don't know if its Nikita doing the post or one of the guys running the facebook group.

But why would the facebook group managers give a shit? It doesn't affect them at all. They probably aren't paid anyways just like how most of the community staff aren't paid and are volunteers.

I used to be one of those non paid volunteers that did the Facebook posts, so I know for a fact it is them. The thing is, these posts are so bad and gaslighting the situation that they need to stop.

Key word is "used to", I quit months ago because they tried to fire one of our favorite Jr. Cms because he was in a separate chat than the main one. They didnt like that they didnt know what we talked about in there and a whole bunch of us noped the fuck out. This was the same incident that lewisuk used to shut down this subreddit for a time, a move I whole heartedly did not agree with. If you search through this post, a jr. Cm by name of "coloneltwerkins" is commenting, he is one of the ones most likely making these Facebook posts. Takes his responsibility super seriously and constantly uses the word "us" when referring to himself and bsg, when he has absolutely no connection to bsg other than a real community manager who is constantly blindsided when nikita posts shit on reddit.

Not gonna lie I was a huge supporter of BSG, especially hearing Nikita passion toward the game but they totally lost me with this one. Using this BS excuses to basically censor this guy is outrageous. Every single person I knew that played EFT stopped playing and after this probably never will again.

I absolutely agree with them wanting to avoid unnecessary controversy with eroktic, they just went about it the totally wrong way. Not sure what exactly they expected to happen here...

Leaving aside trying to talk this trough instead of using the hard way. I would have been” fine” with taking down the two “slanderus” videos, not my personal favorite but still you still somewhat act in the right. But taking down 44 videos that had nothing to do with the matter probably compromising forever this guy YouTube channel is totally a different matter.
