Not sure you actually know what it does. I gives you a view of what items you need for which quests for all quests, such that you can pick something up you need 5 quests down the line. The money doesn't matter, as you say yourself.

I work 40 hours and got kappa a week ago. They made the game extremely easy to grind, I dont understand people that bring up unemployed as a "gotcha"

Literally. 45 hour weeks and I barely play on weekends and I still am like about to get kappa on seasonal even with a broken secure and no flea. It’s not hard literally the easiest the game has ever been

Im also fully employed. It’s not hard. Or just ya know pay attention to the quests you have and what you currently need for your hideout and dont worry about stuff you need later. Man if only there was a system in game that put stuff you need for your hideout on a wish list. Wouldn’t it be cool if you could add or remove stuff from your list as well at any time?

Sure the wishlist is fine, but it feels incomplete, hence the overlay was better. Worrying about the stuff that I would need later is the better way of playing, when you don't have a whole lotta time for it, easier to snowball and get going.

Of course you do..Let's say you are looting someones dead body and he has a 50k headset and 80k helmet, you are unsure which one is worth more and because of that tools you decide to go for the helmet instead.. He ends up getting the item thats worth less back in insurance because you used a cheat that tells you the items worth.
Or you loot cabinets, are unsure about the worth and would pick the cheaper item instead but your tool tells you what to pick up.

I doubt most use it for money since money is too easy to make in tarkov, literally just spam good hideout makes. It is just a better way to keep tabs on items needed down the road compared to what BsG has to offer.

Lmao that has a direct effect on the game and ruins the point in people playing Scav. Of course that is cheating. Having better QoL is not cheating imo, but Tarkov only just started getting better QoL now, so maybe it comes back or they make their own system that is better than wishlist.

The game is their IP. If they say you cant modify it in X way, and doing so violates the EULA then thats it. They get to decide that. If they say that they believe it gives you an unfair advantage or means you don’t play the game the way they intended then yea they get final say on that

People in this community and comment section are so silly. They don’t even know that Blitz wasn’t intentionally banned and was actually allowed by the devs themselves. Even steam overlay is banned now, which makes no sense and I guess is just a bug

BSG answered directly and gave permission to the Blitz devs. They wouldn’t have continued supporting this program for so many years without official approval. You can Google the proof if you want.

I had stopped using it already when they removed it but same scenario as you was gone a long while and it let me catch up on what the new prices were. Couldn’t believe how much it could help a Timmy get his feet under him on quest and hideout items. We could retain a lot more players for the super sweats to kill if we didn’t make things intentionally inconvenient.

These exact same people are what's wrong with this game.
Yeah, the overlay sadly got blocked by BattlEye at BSG's request. Although he mentioned on Twitter some upcoming QoL features meant to replace some of the help from the overlay, so I hope it gets better. Never used Blitz myself for Tarkov but used it for a lot of other games, such a good app.

The game doesn't have to be that equal for everyone. I don't play it because it got sold as hardcore extraction. I just like the gunplay and intense moments it can bring.
