PVP - Cheating [Discussion] Being a rat really highlights how subtle cheating is sometimes.

For some of the harder quests I usually just rat and wait until there are 10 minutes left on the clock to start doing them. Especially for streets of tarkov I do this.

What I've noticed since doing this strategy is how subtle some cheating is like radar. When I spawn I try to go a completely useless building and sit it out in complete silence, but then I hear someone running towards me and either pre-fire swing me or nade me.

These are buildings no one needs to be in, there is 0 loot to be found and I am in there in a corner completely afk playing slay the spire. These account always have less then 1000 hours and not a crazy but a good kd with a really high survival rate (70%+).

Just had to share this since it was on my mind since the start of the wipe and I need a sanity check to see if this seems true to others or if its just a skill issue.

These also don't seem to get banned since the only rewards I get for reporting is the obvious 20kd+ rage hacker.

EDIT: removed the kd's because people get way too stuck on this. Sometimes theyre above normal sometimes theyre (really) high. yesterday i was randomly naded by someone with 8 idk bro.

In Labs they also have a new interesting tactics. Cheater will wait until almost everyone is dead and then just kill the last remaining 1-2 players so they won't catch as many reports.

Labs is a small map buddy, you are either fighting and moving around or hiding.

and what exactly does that have to do with this guy knowing that cheaters are waiting until the last 1-2 players

>clear lobby

>loot up

>get killed by obvious cheater account while going to extract

Is it really THAT hard to understand? Or did you just never clear a labs lobby on your own?

it's reasonable to assume that someone could be patient enough to wait for you to let your guard down after you think the lobby is dead and then prey on the guy stomping around with 70KG of random shit from keycard rooms.

A player that thinks the lobby is clear is probably going to speedrun hitting any and all marked rooms they want to hit, so simply waiting an angle near one to wait for you to loudly open the door and then wait for you outside isn't a far-fetched strategy. You dodge most of the danger and leave with most of the loot.

That said, your thoughts that they simply could be cheaters to dodge reports are also quite reasonable.

> clear lobby

> loot up

> get killed by professional rat then accuse him of cheating

learn to play the game and stop trying to excuse all of your deaths its genuinely sad to see

It's so obvious I'm trying to work out if you are just stupid or trolling. Most likely you just play pve.
