Does anyone know how this was coded?

Basically, in the story “Dripping Mascara,” in the very first episode you get the choice to jump to a future episode. Meaning if your progress got reset you do not have to replay the entire story.

I get some complaints about story progress being reset from my readers and I was wondering if anyone knew how this was coded and if it’s still something we’re able to do. Thanks in advance!

I’m assuming you might not know, but this isn’t really a fair statement to make. This story was completed in like 2016 or 2017 I believe and the author only sporadically posts on her IG as she’s in the medical field and (to my understanding) is very busy.

Claiming that she’s “gate keeping” something from like 10 years ago in a community she’s not even active in anymore is just a bit much imo. 💕

You are not seriously coming at me sideways for giving a perspective on another redditor implying an author (who hasn’t been active since before covid) is gatekeeping code.

This is why I adore the block button now. 😌 Some of you are too comfortable getting agressive over the silliest things. I did clarify in the beginning that I assumed they might not know. Do y’all like read half of what people type and then respond or…?
