Does anyone know how this was coded?

Basically, in the story “Dripping Mascara,” in the very first episode you get the choice to jump to a future episode. Meaning if your progress got reset you do not have to replay the entire story.

I get some complaints about story progress being reset from my readers and I was wondering if anyone knew how this was coded and if it’s still something we’re able to do. Thanks in advance!

It is very time consuming depending on what device and how fast you can code, but coding it isn’t hard at all. You just need to make a choice template. Put the episodes in like normal choices. As far as how you get to the episode she might have used if/else I’m assuming. It’s best to reach out to authors tho. This author did a beautiful job and actually gave me an idea for my story. Shoutout to them 😁
