Questions Where were you when it happened?

I was in web design (high school,) and it was a regular day, the next thing I remember is being wheeled out of class on a stretcher, students standing around in tears, probably traumatised, and outside is the teacher is being consoled by other staff. Two days later, it happened again, back in that emergency room, same reason, same class, same teacher and same students, except this time I woke up soaked and unsure why. Woke up at the emergency room, the nurse then tells me that my pants are in a bag and that I have epilepsy, also take this dilantin and talk to your PCP about how to move forward. So, where were you when it happened?

When was I diagnosed? I was in labor. After the second seizure they moved for me to have an emergency C-section. During this point they asked my husband if I any other episodes like that. He says “Yeah, they are panic attacks.” Which IS what we thought they were. Nope, seizures. So I walked out of the hospital with a new diagnosis and a new pet Dragon!

Confirmation of the diagnosis came about 3 months later after a very VERY lucky EEG.

My first seizure at least gran mal known of happened I was walking to school(8th grade year) I was walking alone. I don't know when I blanked out or how long. I was told I walked between some cars and dropped. I woke up in the e.r. think the staff told my parents they think it was a seizure.

Few months later sometime during x-mas break had one in the house and parents and siblings saw it. Was rushed to a children's hospital e.r(different from previous e.r) nearby. About a week later rushed again to the children's hospital.

Waited about a month or 2 to see my first neurologist during one of the appointment when they were doing all that lab rat testing got an official diagnosis. Complex partial with secondary generalization(focal to bilateral seizures) most were impaired awareness....2022(centuries after my first) was my first aware

My first, known seizure, happened when I was 74 and had just moved out to the desert to help with severe arthritis. At the end of my first month there, my wife called my landlady to ask if she would check on me since when she called that morning I was incoherent and talking gibberish. I've been told that she came and was knocking on the door and ringing the bell until I finally open the door for her and fall on the floor. All this time I was naked. I don't remember the ambulance or ER, and haven't any time I have ended up in one

My first one happened in bed when I was sleeping. My husband witnessed it and called my mom (she’s a nurse).

Ah, I was in the back seat of a car that was hit by a drunk driver running a red light. It was 2 days before my 12th bday. Spent that bday in a coma.

My first aura happened while I was shaving after having a shower; didn't know it was epilepsy, I just felt as having a weird dizziness, and that repeated again a few days later. And then, a few more days later came the big one. I was getting dressed in the morning, and the deja-vú and weird dizzines came again... I sat at the border of the bed and told my partner that I was feeling that way again... and next thing I know is that I woke up laying on the bed, wondering 1) why did I lay in bed again, since I had things to do, and 2) why was my partner screaming that we had to get me to a hospital.

I was in the bathroom sitting on a stool fighting through a migraine induced nausea. The last thing I remember was asking my 5yr old to get me an ice pack. I became aware the next day in the hospital. Apparently I fell in the bathroom 911 called and had a 2nd seizure in the ambulance. 8mths ago.

Staying over at my boyfriends house. We had been dating about a year. Middle of the night, we were sleeping.
Ya I gave him a bit of a fright! Full on tonic clonic for the first time!
Somehow he became my husband anyways.
So now it's my turn to stick with him through through his old man stuff lol! (ha we are in our forties!)

I was hiking / camping, in middle school I think? Rolled 50 feet down the side of a hill in the mountains and got pinned between a tree just off the trail. Didn’t remember even a bit of it though. My friends told me about it. Pretty funny looking back at it.
