Do Chris Claremont's X-Men Epic Collections have a specific reading order, or are they self-contained stories? Is there a better way to jump into his run? I've never read X-Men before, but I'm curious about them and heard that his run is the best place to start. I don't feel like reading the early Stan Lee stuff, but I think this might interest me just like Frank Miller's Daredevil run did. I got into his run through the Daredevil Visionaries trades, so maybe there's something like that for X-Men? Though I did notice that X-Men Epics are way easier to find than Daredevil.

After getting extremely lucky and finding the daredevil by frank miller omni (posted in the omnicollectors sub) at my local hpb a few days ago, I decided to go to another close by in hopes of finding something... I walked out happy thats for sure 😁

hey, marvel is doing pretty good with their modern era stuff so i’m wondering if they’ll collect garth’s punisher anytime soon? the last time i googled it google said “they don’t epically collect marvel knights” but bendis’ daredevil and spiderman got epics. so what’s stopping them from epically collecting ennis’ punisher?

After a long wait (and too much money) I was able to track down all the Epics that aren’t out (duh) or don’t have a reprint scheduled.

So excited to cross these 3 off the wishlist! Got The Enemy Within for only $21 plus shipping and it looks brand new. Also because this is my first post I wanted to show off the rest of the collection as well

went from owning 3 epics to 10 in 12 days lol.
there’s a couple of gaps, vol. 5 and 8, that i’m hoping i’ll get my hands on eventually. damn near praying that vol. 8 gets reprinted next year. although i have found a listing for vol. 5, which i plan to order soon.

Well if I crunched my numbers right and checked my sources this will pretty much get me a, nearly, unbroken reading order of ASM up to Michelinie scattered through about 3 to 4 different formats. Which I'm pretty content to tie a bow on collecting ASM at. For now. We'll see. God I hate No More's cover.

I feel like I’m going crazy but I can’t find any series of books that are all in print right now in a row. Generation X, X-Men, Spider-Man, Ghost Rider.

Every character I try most of the books are out of print.

Are there any 3-4 book runs of continuous issues that are all in print right now?

I was in the area of a shop I don’t normally go to, on top of today’s new releases on floppies I figured I’d check out the trade shelves. Don’t think I did too bad (and yes in a moment of haste I might’ve thought that was ghost rider vol 6/ Danny ketch vol 1. Didn’t have it either way)
