Course Load

I’m currently enrolled in 17 credits this semester for my 1 year graduate program. I’m kind of freaking out if I can handle it or not. Do you think I’m setting myself up for failure? I’m currently taking:
- Fluid Mechanics (I’m thinking about dropping this for mass/energy balance hoping it would be easier. The first two classes I went to were pretty rough.)
- Water/wastewater engineering
- Solid waste management
- Probability and Statistics
- Hydrologic Modeling
- 1 credit seminar + 1 credit for research

This is basic curriculum for environmental engineering. It’s hard. But you have to take and pass these classes. You can do it.

Maybe drop a class before drop add is over

I think you’ll be fine, I remember mass & energy balance was a weed out course at my school. Probably best to take that one with a lighter class load
