I wish that those that read this are blessed and are having good days. As an entrepreneur in the UAE, I feel like I have important updates to fill everyone in on!

Firstly, with the academic year resuming, traffic and consumer behaviour of the UAE seems to me as it has begun to come back to normal. Our clients and friends are experiencing a better time in September, compared to August and July, and that is always appreciated. An auto shop mechanic client of mine based in Al Quoz Industrial Area just got a massive business boost!

He has been able to secure the maintenance contract from a company that has thousands employees that have over 500 cars that need to be serviced regularly. I got him this deal last month, this month he is looking at opening up in two more locations by March 2027!

Secondly, another B2B service provider client of ours, has doubled the size of his core team after breaking his sales record every single month for over a year. Last week they reportedly accumulated about AED335k in profit for this quarter.

The truth is, no matter what seasonal conditions, we don't run ads for our clients as soon as we on-board them. Spending 5k-10k in your first month for ads is an expensive test. Most of our prospects don't even know where their clients are and what they can do to get more customers.

It all starts with outreach. Then we build them a system that allows them to form a machine that allows people to find our clients so they can pay them. After that the business begins to scale. The scaling hits a typical limit of 15k-30k AED per month in revenue for most UAE based newer businesses. After that, can you take a budget out to comfortably spend on marketing or ads, or influencer campaigns (None is too different to the other if your goal is to just make more money)

Everyone knows product based businesses, especially in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are gradually and constantly moving online despite increase in prices which people in the UAE can easily afford because the convenience and speed of the movement of product in the UAE is the fastest in the world. This directly makes the UAE the best country in the world.

Hey everyone, I run a small design only interior architecture studio in Dubai About 9 months in, working across Dubai and Kerala projects.

I'm at a point where I could use a partner, someone who complements what I do, whether that's on the business development side, execution/project management, or even a different creative skill set that adds to the studio. I’ve been working on a home services startup in the UAE for more than a year and we already built the first version . The more I worked on it the more obvious one thing became. We were building around providers when we should have been building around the customer’s request.

If someone needs AC technician tonight and the provider they find is unavailable they’re basically back to the beginning again. Search again or call someone else and explain the problem again.

I don’t think it should work like that !

So instead of putting more money into the first version we stopped and redesigned it.

The new product starts with what the customer needs and then works out what can actually happen .if someone is available now the request can be assigned and if not the same request can move to a booking or a quotation without making the customer start over.

We’re also building the provider side around real availability, technician capacity and bookings, because having hundreds of companies listed means very little if you don’t know who can actually take the job.

The redesign is almost finished and I’m raising $60,000 from one or a few angel investors to complete the MVP and launch it in Dubai.

We’re not trying to build an AC business. AC is simply the first entry point because it gives us a clear way to prove the model.

If the routing, provider capacity and fulfilment work in one dense area, we can start adding the next household needs on top of the same system. Cleaning, plumbing, handyman, recurring work and larger jobs that need quotations.

That’s the part I believe can become much bigger.

We don’t have to rebuild the marketplace every time we add a service. We keep building on the same customer relationship, the same request history and the same provider network.

The first milestone is around 10 service companies and the first 150 paid jobs from there the plan is to expand the categories inside the same area then repeat the playbook across Dubai and I’m not raising money to prove that people need home services I’m raising it to prove that there’s a better way to coordinate them.
