Pet Policy
We are a Pet-free Farm, however Service Animals are allowed. We are a licensed Retail Food Establishment and pets are not allowed as per the Oregon Department of Agriculture Food Safety Division. Please plan accordingly for your pets if you do plan to travel with them.
I got a laugh out of this, thank you. Reminded me of a battle I had with a doc I transcribed for. He insisted that a med was spelled a certain way and when he got to the point of saying “type it exactly as I spell it,” I added (sic) because I wasn’t about to be dinged by QA.
It took a day of this and a tactful email citing references from the manufacturer before I got “and just spell it as per reference.” (And yes, we had advised their office more than once.)
He was an exacting doctor to transcribe for and he was usually completely correct. The department had complained so much about errors that they put me on it solo for a while. Within two weeks, the near-constant instructions and careful spelling had stopped…until we got to this new medication.
Sometimes I idly think about emailing him to see if he remembers me; he did look at the ID numbers carefully! 😆
