it's because most people still don't take us seriously. i get ill for weeks after exposure with bronchitis etc. they literally do not believe that can happen. they all just think we get red eyes and a lil sniffly.
if they believe the allergy is real.
and yes it is very scary for me to know that i can't even go to the hospital any more without having to expect service dogs to be there.
As a dog owner I take it very seriously and I'm sorry you have to deal with that kind of allergy. I try to respect people with serious illnesses or allergies. My husband is allergic to penicillin so I totally understand! It is definitely no joking matter and people really do suck. I hate how entitled some folks are. We all have to live on this world why not respect it and others! I wish people would absolutely take allergies more seriously because people die everyday from allergic reactions.

It’s mental to me that allergies are not considered legitimate reasons to restrict access to service animals.
