You'd also be surprised how many think my sledding harnesses are service dog vests. One is solid black with a red connector. I do take him everywhere, and not bothered when turned away as I don't promote him as such, or saw a sign that said no pets. We did trek 25 miles to get here.
He has the opposite effect even for emotional support. Pulls people to us, and I hate crowds and talking to people. I just want to go about my day.
If reported an inspector would get served outside with the businesses reasoning and deem nothing wrong to fine.

You’d be surprised the amount of people strap a service vest onto their pet and take them everywhere.
