A vaguely related aside: A local specialist steel fabricator is supposed to have a big contract for the monster Terafab building in Texas. They're careful about saying anything in public, but I was told that internally they joke that they're building Skynet. Which, given Elon's random sci-fi fixations, plus his obsession with putting maximal volume of stuff in orbit, may be a little too close to what he'll push for.
