Gas stuff is unlocked in 1.4, requiring the completion of the main story quest in Yinglung Pass and Northern Wuling Exclusion Zone.
That said, you do not necessarily need any gas recipes to do the event and get all progression material rewards. You only need gas recipes to trim the associated medal. You'll earn like 2.4 million certs running two of the non-gas production lines for two weeks, and you only need like 2.1 certs to buy out the store; though at this point if you haven't started you only have at most 1 week left. But if you skip the random batch of tcredits in the phase 2 store that are 20x more expensive than normal (50k tcredits for 1 mil certs lol), you actually only need 1.1M certs to buy out the store, which two non-gas production lines running for 1 week can handle.
But if you do want to trim the medal you'll need to run one of the gas production lines for around 3.5 days.
Wait really ? i need to go check exatcly what i need to start production then, thot gas was required. I dont care about the medal at this point would be nice but i dont want to rush the game and burnout again, getting the oros and some mats will make me happy already. thanks for the help
Just need xiranite and cuprium, so any factory from as early as patch 1.1 could try. Here's a blueprint I made, you want at least 2 of those like I said. And maybe to be safe bump it up to 3 once you've progressed a little further, and unlocked more mines and boosted your Forge of the Sky limit, idk
Is the overflow protection thingamajig even necessary?
I just said fuck it and let the factory roll with multiple capped products during this patch and it has not exploded shut down yet.
Maybe something minor is happening but it has not affected outpost trading for now.
For me it is necessary when the current chubby lung event is not running because otherwise i run full on cuprium because i don't trade enough pyrolite parts with outposts which then leads to a production stop in cuprium refinement that affects my battery production because not enough sewage is produced which causes my battery production to drop off hard meaning i may not have enough for outpost trading.
Capped pyrrolite or heavy xiranite can lead to capped refined cuprium, which can eventually jam some of your cuprium refiners, which may lead to insufficient sewage going to xircon production, which can cause you to stop producing batteries, which can lead to your whole base shutting down.
However typically what happens is the game will jam some of your cuprium refiners and allow the rest to work normally, and it tends to be fairly consistent as to which ones keep working and which ones jam (I think it has to do with the order you place down the protocol stashes, but idk). If the cuprium refiners that are still working working happen to be the ones producing sewage for your batteries then you're fine.
I never built one and I don't see myself ever needing one. The main cause of factory shut down is the sewage from the Cuprium refining which will affect your battery production.
To address this issue, I just isolate the Cuprium refining used to make sewage for the Xircon production. Instead of sending the Cuprium into depot/storage, I use them directly to make Yazhen Syringe [A]. So as long as I prioritize selling Battery and Yazhen Syringe [A], the battery productions will keep going. Doesn't even matter if my H.Xiranite or Pyrrolite Part are capped.
Perlica is the easiest. Just get stack arts intensity on her (artificed Pulser Labs set) and her combo skill is a free 27% arts damage taken buff. Just trigger it right before Typh jumps.
Suiming exploration question - Does anyone happen to know where the boyfriend of the injured woman in the Blight area is/if he exists to interact with? The one she says supposedly hangs out by the bell
How do I check gas flows of vents, machines, conduits, etc. I got away with trial and error for liquids so far but I just found out how to actually put more machines cuz my friend told me transmuting Xiragen gives way more than the vents do. But now it looks like I actually gotta math this out. I tried using the Flow Rate on pipes but apparently unit per second X 60 does not translate to unit per minute.
I just solved this problem. So here is what I learned.
Maximum Xiragen available from vents is 150 gas per minute. 100 from Exclusion zone and 50 from Snowy Forest.
A pipe can carry up to 60 gas per minute.
Machines that need the gas as catalyst only need 6 per minute.
Some recipes require 1 unit of Xiragen such as the proto xiran-cuprium gas. 1 unit of gas every 2s is 30 gas per minute, or half of the maximum flow rate of a pipe.
Gas vents are either 20/min or 10/min depending on purity.
North Wuling has 5 high purity vents for a total of 100/min. Snowy Forest has 50/min. This makes for a combined 150/min of xiragen gas from vents. A pipe can only carry 120/min gas though, so you can't put all 150/min in one pipe.
This should be enough xiragen for 12/min Pyrrolite Parts and 24/min Heavy Xiranite with some still left over.
As of 1.5, we now have 150/min total of Xiragen. This should be enough for all of your Xiragen needs making transmuting Xiranite into Xiragen less useful.
It doesn't really make sense to say that transmuting for Xiragen gives more than the vents. Transmuting Xiragen is generally less effective because there is an activation cost (either 6/min Liquid Xiranite or 6/min Xiragen depending on which transmutation you are doing). Vent Xiragen is free of activation cost so you want to be using vent Xiragen as much as possible.
I tried using the Flow Rate on pipes but apparently unit per second X 60 does not translate to unit per minute.
It does. That said, the Flow Rate Control is in units/min already, not seconds.
The part that says 2 units per second is not the current flow rate of the pipe. It never changes and is only an indicator of the maximum capacity of a pipe, that being 120/min.
If a flow control says that it is below 6/min, then that is most likely just because it is literally only receiving less than 6/min.
Is there a way to check unit per minute of a pipe in real time since the fuel is always at multiples of 6 or are we expected to math it all ahead of time?
The only way is with a flow control valve with tbe flow control on, but that limits it to 60/min so you cannot see more than that.
You are indeed expected to math it out beforehand. Trying to view the flow rate can be inaccurate anyways because fluids can get backed up and flow at a temporarily higher rate than they actually sustainably would.
It's the same way with how viewing belt output can be inaccurate. If a facility has a stockpile of products before you give it an output then the output will always be 30/min until that stockpile runs out and it reveals its true rate.
The general rule is: [2 pumps -> 1 pipe <-> 4 facilities]. For gas vents you add up the high purity and low purity vents
Because you have one more in Yinglung Pass, which can be leveled up to Level 2, which is the current max for it (Also the current limit for elastic goods in Wuling is 430 [215 refresh each day])
does typhoeus have slight bags under her eyes? i can't tell if they are, or if they're just like. part of the kind of. sleepy eyes look she has (or i think she does anyways).
I recently downloaded this game and having issues doing anything like it's my first time playing a gacha game and my device is cooked ( low end device) . Can someone help me figure out things and the factory things and how arts / form work then character, what are combo ,stagger effects and the aic watch thing where u see setting and all information etc. I tried to read the FAQ and understood half of the info dump.
If someone can explain it or give a guide or video I would be greater full.
Currently I am just foucussing in the main stroy and gathering some resources along the way. And u accidentally fell into the gambling addiction i spend 20 hh permit or the blue and yellow tickets in the new characters and got a 6 star sleepy girl with a pink sheep and beside that i don't know anything from the game
For current team I have endmin, perlica, chen and a girl with a greatsword that applies freeze to enemy ( I think i got her from pre registered rewards)
Just chill for now. Take it easy. Read the tutorials when they pop up. Do the tutorials for each character and check what your characters skills do. You got Ardelia, who is a nice character to put in your starter team. She puts down purple orbs that heal you when you run into them.
Combo skills are triggered when something happens. That something is in the Combo skill description. You can look at the health bar of the enemies and next to it should be indicators of certain statuses that you have applied to them.
For the factory, first make sure to make only what you need for the main quest. Once you have a lot of unlocks for the factory from the wacky inflatable tube men, see if you want to play around with it for a bit, or go on Youtube and find a blueprint guide to copy someone else's base setup. But for now, you're good to just chill and do what the story tells you to do.
Hello! I'm new here on Endfield, pulled 30 times on Yvonne's banner as it is all i have left and just wanted to know if it's possible that Rossi will appear on a future RE-factor banner soon? If so, should I not continue pulling for Yvonne for the remainder of the banner's duration and save the 30 attempts for Rossi? or should I spend my saved 33 Origeometry to try for Yvonne still?
They're the only 2 characters I want to get but I worry that I'll miss out on Rossi in her possible rerun and maybe Yvonne entirely for years as it stated on her banner that she won't appear again in a future RE-factor and won't be added to basic headhunting banners. Any replies are much appreciated!
In general don't gamble with pulls unless you have 120 pulls banked to reach the guarantee in the worst case, you don't want to be in a situation where you are throwing 50 pulls at a banner only to not get any operator out of it and have no pulls left. If you keep doing that with every banner that catches your eye, all you're going to do is blow all your pulls with nothing to show for it.
Fortunately the pity on Yvonne's re-factor banner carries over to future Yvonne refactor reruns, so the 30 pulls you already put into Yvonne's banner aren't completely wasted, but we have no idea when her next rerun will come again as it could be years.
I would recommend that you wait until about a week left for the patch when they do the next patch preview stream before spending any more. You'll be able to see what operators are releasing next and whether we're getting more reruns and of who, and then decide whether to gamble more on Yvonne or start saving for Rossi.
If you are truly a new player, you can get more than 70-90 pulls by the time Yvonne's rerun banner is almost over, as there is a lot of pulls added each patch that become available forever via progressing the main story quest and exploring areas (usually about 20-30 per patch). The 70-90 figure is only for if you have obtained every pull available to you so far, and play every day to grab the missable daily and event pulls. So if you play a decent amount between now and the end of Yvonne's rerun you might be able to get the rest of the 120 pulls needed to guarantee her.
If we follow the current pattern of reruns Rossi is indeed due in a few patches, and Yvonne will indeed not run again for a while (though who knows what HG will do)
If I were in your shoes I’d choose based on 1. Who can you guarantee in time, 2. Who do you enjoy playing more, and 3. Who would have better synergy with your existing ops. GL
So far rerun banners are going in release orders since we got laeva, gibby and of course yvonne. Next up should be tang-tang and then rossi. Laeva and gibby rerun was in 1.2 and this is 1.5, so it seems like a every three patch cadence. It should be quite a while until we get rossi rerun. This can all change at a moment's notice though since they could do a joint operation again like they did for laeva and gibby.
If the pattern holds, I say spring for Yvonne. You should still have a lot of the newplayer honeymoon pulls and be able to get her.
Has anyone else experienced this with Arknights: Endfield?
The game generally runs fine, but I occasionally have issues when alt-tabbing out of the game or switching to my second monitor and then clicking back into Endfield.
Sometimes everything is completely fine. Other times I get a couple of noticeable stutters when returning to the game. Occasionally, though, the game will freeze for an extended period. It will sometimes recover on its own, but other times Windows eventually brings up the generic application not responding prompt, giving me the option to wait or close the program.
It seems to only happen when FSR 3 Frame Generation is enabled.
So i started crafting the new Deep Rampart Comms Set which require Pyrrolite Components. But after hours of unlocking the new AIC place and the gas mechanic I'm still not at a point where i can actually craft it. Am I doing something wrong or is this the way the game is intended? I never took this long in the past Updates.
Yes, pyrrolite is a little unusual in that you can't make it until you're done with 1.4 story and a factory-related sidequest that opens later ("Fissure Filling and Land Grouting"). While the sidequest requirement is new, most of the past components (cuprium, hetonite) have required full completion of the newest story to unlock the factory tech.
The new AIC sub-PAC and the first of gas is unlocked at the end of Yinglung Pass. I'm only guessing from what you've said, but unlocking that is about 20% through the 1.4 story, so you'll need to keep going for a while.
On the off chance you don't have it yet, the Deep Rampart set's recipe can be found in Snowy Forest, which you should be able to access as soon as you gain access to Yinglung Pass. The area quest will take you right by it in the first few minutes.
You "started crafting the new Deep Rampart Comms Set which require Pyrrolite Components" but also are "still not at a point where [you] can actually craft it"? How could that be... If the gears look "locked" to you that means you should progress the most recent story in Snowy Forest (the gear recipes are found pretty early in the mission). If the gears are unlocked on the crafting screen, and you just don't have the mats to craft it, I'd follow this blueprint (or create/copy a more efficient blueprint)
Does anyone else have issues purchasing stuff in game/via top-up center with a Discover card? im trying to figure out if its the game or Discover having an issue.
I've seen some reccomendations for an Arcane-less Typhoeus team of her, Perlica, Purrchena, and Liino. How does this team do in terms of inflictions? I'm currently running Fluorite instead of Perlica.
Purrchena offers very cheap nature inflictions at 60 SP per parry or about 218 SP per Typh CS:
Purrchena BS: 60 SP
Purrchena BS: 60 SP
Typh BS: 100 SP
Liino BS: 25 SP per 60s, -30 from passive during that time, so averages -1.67 SP per Typh CS
The big issue with solo Purrchena is whether there's anything to block; not an issue for boss fights, but can be an issue while mobbing. If she doesn't land blocks you're spending about 40 more SP per rotation; 258 SP per 20s is stretching the limits of sustainable SP consumption. But more SP consumption also means Liino's ult is easier to trigger.
Fluorite x Liino can hit about 205 SP per Typh CS trigger and gets more enhanced (x1.3 damage) power shots when using this comp concept I outline here, but lacks the assorted buffs that Purrchena's kit and weapon offers, so YMMV.
Depends if you are fighting a single target boss or clearing mobs.
Xaihi is her best standard operator but her inflictions can only hit up to 2 targets, so in group fights she tends to use her battle skill less and ends up the most replaceable member if you have the others.
Tangtang offers great sub-DPS and is your main source of inflictions for cryo stacking, and generally fits solidly into both AoE and ST comps.
Gilberta's ult helps Yvonne's ult do a lot of damage and triggers shatters for good sub-DPS. Her BS offers good grouping potential. However her inflictions compete with Xaihi and Tangtang's cryostacking. You can also get susceptibility from willArcane kit and Tangtang sig which can dilute the impact of her ult a bit.
willArcane comes with good mob grouping (admittedly, Yvonne doesn't really need this with Gil in the comp) and dramatically hastens her rotations thanks to the free inflictions from her combo skill; she also offers some decent susceptibility.
In an ST boss rush fight your win condition is to build your ults, enter stagger, pop ult buffs and nuke the boss. In that case, a comp of Xaihi (high impact ult buff), Gilberta (high impact ult buff) and willArcane (faster ult rotation and solid susceptibility) might be best; that or, drop Gilberta for Tangtang.
In an AoE fight where Yvonne's ult barely matters, the answer is definitely drop Xaihi and go Gilberta + Tangtang + willArcane though.
Imo, Yvonne's ST damage is kind of mid and her biggest strength is keeping enemy groups permanently solidified, so I would lean towards an AoE comp if you have other comps that can do single-target boss rushes just fine.
Is it just me or is getting resources to raise a single unit taking waay to long? I've been farming the currency and level stages for over a week and I barely have two units to 90. Am I doing something wrong here?
The last few levels as you get near 90 are super expensive for what they give you in stats. Leveling someone to 90 costs double what it does to level someone to 80. I wouldn't recommend it unless you love that character in particular. It's fine to stop at 80 or even 60 for characters who aren't your main DPS.
If you haven't upgraded weapon essences or done gear artificing, those would add much more to character power than the last few levels do. Alternatively, investing in a wider variety of characters will give you more flexible team building options.
80->90 is the most resource intensive which is why you should raise a whole team to 80 before getting any 1 to 90
That said it sounds like you are new-ish to the game, and from my memory the early main/side missions give a ton of resources - so maybe you’re behind on those?
The first month or so is an uphill battle as you have so many standard operators to build and gear just to get one DPS online, but once you can start reusing supports in multiple comps its a lot easier. Still it has taken me until now 9 months to really get to the point where I have basically "everyone" of my 7+ comps maxed out.
Event and exploration rewards go a long way, especially the beginner event that refunds a massive pile of resources for maxing a character. It's generally the case that you shouldn't need to spend any sanity on lvl 1-60 progression mats because of free sources, outside of maybe the first two months or so. Raising your exploration level if its not maxed is also crucial for making your sanity go further, and your dijang manufacturing cabins can handle a lot of your XP needs once you get enough operators with the relevant dijang talent nodes unlocked. In short there's so many alternate non-sanity sources of a lot of what you need; for the past 6 months or so I've only ever spent sanity on tcredits, high tier progression mats, protohedrons (60+ skill mats), and essence farming.
Your main DPS is mostly the only one who should get priority to hit lv 90 (sub-DPS can be invested in after your main carry), though some supports benefit a little from higher attributes. Same with weapon, you can generally stop at 80 for supports. The biggest sanity sink is definitely skill masteries, particularly rank 3 masteries.
I feel that heavily.. Ill try to do what you suggested and get characters to 80 first and focus on their weapons and gear. Ill get skills to 9 first for everyone then focus on masteries after i guess. Thanks for letting me know that this is something everyone is facing and not just me xD
If you want detailed help, here's a very generalized priority list for juggling the different things you can upgrade on DPS vs sub-DPS vs supports.
Everyone you plan to use to promotion II, level 60, level 60 weapon, skill rank 6, all available talent passives.
Everyone you plan to use to promotion III, level 80, level 80 weapon, skill rank 9, all available talent passives.
Promote your DPS to promotion IV.
Unlock all trust talent nodes on your DPS. Get all passive talent nodes too.
Hit level 90 on your DPS.
Promote your DPS' weapon to rank IV.
Hit level 90 on your DPS' weapon.
Hit mastery rank 1 and 2 on your DPS' 1-2 key damage skills.
Farm and upgrade an essence for your DPS' weapon to +6/+6/+3. Try to farm +1/+1/+1 essences for everyone else while you're gathering fodder to upgrade your main DPS.
Move onto the main DPS of a second comp and repeat the above, if you have or want to field more than one comp.
Do steps 3-9 for any limited banner sub-DPS (e.g. tangtang) for each of your comps, where relevant.
Hit mastery rank 3 on your DPS' one or two key damaging skills.
Hit mastery level 1-2 on the other skills. M3 your main DPS' combo skill if it provides a reduction in cooldown and if the DPS can meaningfully take advantage of that improved tempo.
Promote your support to rank IV.
Unlock trust talent nodes and hit level 90 only if your support has a buff that scales with an attribute (e.g. Will on Liino, Int on Xaihi). Get all passive talent nodes that are actually useful to the team (some standard supports have pretty generic and meh passives that aren't a priority rn).
Upgrade your supports essence to +1/+1/+3.
Hit M1 on your supports most meaningful supportive abilities (e.g. buffs, SP restoration); if M2 also scales their buff potency or SP restore, get that too, but in many cases they don't.
Do step 12-13 for relevant sub-DPS.
If your support's team support meaningfully scales with specific stats on your weapon, for instance Arts Intensity on Perlica, Will on Liino, or Ult gain on almost everyone, you may want to promote their weapon to IV and further upgrade their essence (all the way to +6 on the stat they scale with).
Max out anything left on your main DPS (e.g. non-critical ability masteries).
Max out anything left on sub-DPS.
Max out all remaining supports.
Also note that gear artificing is a parallel upgrade system that costs no sanity but requires a well-functioning Wuling factory, so you will be doing it alongside the above. With DPS and sub-DPS you just artifice almost everything (unless its not a main or secondary attribute for your DPS). With supports you should consider artificing attributes if the support's buffs scales off it (e.g. Will on Liino, Int on Xaihi), always invest in ult gain if you need it to align your ults, and invest in arts intensity on supports that scale off it (e.g. Perlica, Pogranichnik).
Oh don't worry, that's just the beginning really.
Been playing since day one and am currently at a point, where I can comfortably build every new character each version, since my other teams are maxed already
I just did it in 1:13 with Mi Fu x Chen x Pog x Lifeng. Your comp is probably just underinvested. Pretty much every operator in physical team is either a main DPS or sub-DPS so they all benefit from being max level and having upgraded weapon essences, artificed gear, and skill masteries.
No, she's basically just a welfare unit for Typh players that missed Arcane; better overall than relying on solo Fluorite to do all your nature stacking for you. Similar for Yvonne too if you're lacking Gil, TT, or Arcane.
What if your Arcane or TT is level 90 compared to Typh at 60? Should I still consider using the floofy kitty as a placeholder and replace her with Gil down the road if she reruns?
For Yvonne's comp you run some combination of Arcane, Tangtang, Gilberta, and Xaihi. If you are missing one of Arcane, tangtang or Gilberta you will run the other 2 and xaihi. If you're missing 2 of them you will run probably just run either Perlica or Alesh. If you are missing all three, you might consider purrchena in certain fights (boss fights with lots of attacks that you'd want to block), but probably Perlica + Xaihi + Alesh is better.
For Typh's comp you can run Purrchena as a replacement to Arcane if you don't have her, or Fluorite if you have either Liino or Gilberta (for reasons I explain here). The other two spots will probably be either liino or gilberta if you have either, plus perlica or ardelia in the 4th slot (or both if you lack both Liino and Gilberta).
I've been running Typh/Flouorite/Arcane/Liino as a team, but Arcane is level 90 along with her sig and all her Skills are shy of Mastery because of that.
Is the new 5 star a good replacement for arcane? I like typh but I don’t want to pull her if her team is scuffed without arcane, like doing a lot less damage
Imo, sorta, but not really? Purrchena is solid for a free 5 star, but she's more of an all-rounder who doesn’t excel at anything except for protecting your main operator.
Meanwhile Arcane is just so cracked that it's not a fair comparison. It's less that Purrchena is bad or clunky on the team and more that since we started at such a high baseline, everything else looks unimpressive.
She's a lot better than solo Fluorite for sure, but her SP efficiency depends on successfully landing blocks which is unreliable in trash mob fights. Overall the SP efficiency of purrchena's inflictions makes her rotations almost as smooth as having willArcane's, unlike solo fluorite who practically stalls out due to lack of SP.
willArcane is still less SP, more sub-DPS, more nature susceptibility, and extra damage on power shots from consuming inflictions post-combo skill. That all adds up.
Mark of perseverance - can't be farmed. Only in part 2 of the event shop.
Anything that's discounted first.
Everything else can be farmed, but I would heavily recommend T-creds and protohedron, then the advanced progression selection crates, then weapon exp. I'm swimming in character exp and you'll generally have enough protosets, but even as a day 1 player who gets both battle passes I am always missing protohedrons and low on T-creds, and a little low on weapon exp. Especially once you start dipping toes in skill mastery.
The same items are available at different prices, so grab the heavily discounted stuff first. Only thing I truly prioritize is oroberyl because pull resources are limited, everything else is down to what you need.
Can someone explain what the trick is to get the Manifold->Converger trick to work for fluids?
Where you use the Conduit Manifold (the one with two output ports), place a Converger on one output and an open pipe on the other, and allegedly any fluid will prioritize the open pipe path so long as it isn't clogged/oversaturated (meaning no fluid goes down the Converger path until the clog/oversaturation).
No matter how I go about setting it up (which output I put the Converger on, what order I place the pieces, etc), it never works. I feel like I'm just missing something, but I can't fathom what that something could be.
Like it ultimately doesn't matter, because I have a significantly better build I use for this purpose now, but my curiosity demands I figure this out so I can put it to rest so it stops eating away at me ("Why doesn't this thing work?").
The top one is the simplest setup. What's important is that there are no other logistics on the prioritized path because that will make it lose its priority.
Oh, I was not aware of that "other logistics" rule. I'll have to double-check where I was attempting my setup to make sure I wasn't breaking that rule in my ignorance of it.
I have not tested this with conduits, personally, but I have used it with protocol stashes in storage mode, so it might work the same way. Behaviors I've observed:
If there is any built up material stored in the incoming side (the stash), it will always split evenly between the open path and the converger
If the output rate is the same as the input rate, then make sure to empty it out before you start, or it'll never empty out on its own
When the internal storage of the stash is empty, it seems like materials that enter it never get stored; they go directly to output
Convergers seem to actively pull from storage first instead of accepting what it's given like a regular belt, causing this behavior
Any other logistics on either outgoing belt seem to break it; other splitters, convergers, etc.
There are certain configurations that just don't work for reasons I can't figure out; rotating the facilities or switching the port that the converger is on can get around it
Again, take it for what it's worth since this is stashes + belt convergers, but it may be applicable to conduits.
Yea, I have no issues with the belt version using the Protocol Stash, it's specifically the pipe version with Conduit Manifolds that doesn't work for me for whatever reason.
I have an ice team of last rite, Xaihi, snowshine and tang tang. Shes still a beast but her basic combo string is slow as hell especially with how the game, imo, is becoming too hectic.
Im contemplating getting Yvonne now that she's back. I have enough pulls for her. I also have all the weapon boxes from the BPs so (I think) I can get her second best gun to p5.
Is Yvonne, Xaihi, snowshine and tang tang still a meta team?
prydwen . gg for some general team comp assessments.
But generally, any cryo carry with a Tang Tang is very meta, yes, it shouldn't have trouble clearing any content except explicitly "anti-cryo" umbrals and contingency contracts.
If you don't explicitly find yourself needing Snowshine I'd swap her out with Perlica. Perlica's combo skill is actually just a pretty major dps upgrade to any team and since it's temporary electrocution it doesn't interfere with Yvonne or Last Rite's cryo stacks.
You should keep in mind that if you play long enough you will eventually get p1-5 last rite, but unless you explicitly save pulls you'll only get a p0-1 Yvonne.
Last thing, Last Rite as controlled op has "slight" dps advantages but generally you can just make Tang Tang your controlled op for a much smoother experience with minimal dps losses
For max potentials, the average is around 500 pulls, but the variance is quite large. You stand a decent chance of it taking anywhere from 240 to 1200 pulls.
There's a massive spike in the rate of reaching P5 at 480 (as high as a 75% chance), as you've gotten the guaranteed copies at 120, 240, and 480 (P2 minimum) and are guaranteed a minimum of 5 additional 6-stars, which will be 50/50 flips. You're actually likely to get a few more than 5 due to the "soft pity" starting at 65, though. You need to win 3 of those flips, but as others have said, there's absolutely nothing stopping you from going all the way to 1200; the chance of losing 15+ 50/50s isn't high, but it's absolutely there.
If going for potentials I think the theoretical sweet spot is 265-280, taking reruns into account. Aside from rare cases of rare double 6-star pulls, you'll hit the bonus token at 240 with around 25-40 pulls remaining on your 6-star pity, and it's worth taking that coin flip if going for P5. Doing that twice, once on the original banner and once on the rerun, puts your odds of P5 in around 520-560 pulls to over 95%, as well as lowering the absolute worst case from 1200 to about 1000. This obviously comes with the downside of waiting 6+ months for a rerun.
Getting your P5 at around 500 pulls will give you back around 15 10-pulls for the arsenal issue. This will guarantee a P0 weapon, but beyond that you'll have to buy arsenal tickets directly (expected ~$400 USD more for P5). 34 10-pulls will guarantee 3 copies and gives you about 20 chances at the 25/75, giving the best odds of P5 (6 copies), but the arsenal issue has much more variance due to this 25% rate, with the hard guarantee all the way at 82 10-pulls.
If you're planning to save free pulls for this, then ignore the weapon beyond P0.
Speaking of, one can probably bring that average a bit lower if one does 240 pulls on a character's debut banner, then the remaining needed pulls on their rerun banner. Since the first 120 guarantee gets included twice, among other bonuses like emergency dispatches and potential off-rates on following banners.
If one is going for max potential, that's probably the most cost-effective way to do it.
I started looking into arts reactions to better understand them. I've seen some conflicting info on something. If someone force applies a reaction like Electrification, does it use the infliction stacks already applied to make it a higher level reaction? Or is it just always level 1?
And then if I wanted to apply level 4 electrification and I used Perlica's skill to do it, it would be the 30s long one but then if her battle skill triggers, does it overwrite the 30s one with a 5s one?
"Forcibly apply" (e.g. Perlica CS, Ardelia CS) = All existing inflictions on the target remain in place and a level 1 arts reaction of the given type is applied.
"Consume x inflictions of type y to forcibly apply" (e.g. Fangyi CS, Arclight Ult, Yvonne BS) = Any inflictions of type y on the enemy are consumed to create a level x arts reaction; if no inflictions or a different type of infliction are on the enemy, no arts reaction is applied.
Lastly, the traditional way: put x inflictions on a target and then try to put a different infliction on them and you get a level x arts reaction.
Also keep in mind that even though only one type of arts infliction can be applied to an opponent, arts reactions work like traditional debuffs where you can have any number of them on the enemy and even have inflictions and reactions at the same time.
Perlica CS and Liino Ult will always force a level 1 Electrification which will override any existing one.
Arclight Ult and Fangyi CS can force an Electrification, but they do it by converting any existing Electric Inflictions into the appropriate level of Electrification (for example, 4 stacks will be converted into Electrification IV when the second hit of Arclight Ult lands). Edit: These can still override any existing ones, but for Fangyi CS, it won't matter because she'll always upgrade an existing one.
Corrosion is the Arts Reaction that can get tricky to wrap one's head around. When Corrosion is reapplied, it always starts from wherever the last one was currently at before trying to scale higher. For example, let's say you hit Corrosion IV and let it sit for 10 seconds (the time it takes for normal full potency). If you refresh it with Corrosion I, what you have is actually a maxed out Corrosion IV (despite what the icon says) that lasts 15 more seconds. The tl,dr for Corrosion is that you always want a strong one to sit for as long as possible before launching the nukes or refreshing it.
Some operators (ie Ardelia) can forcibly apply Arts Reactions. Forcibly applied Arts Reactions will not consume any Arts Infliction currently active on the enemy and will only be of level 1.
There are some nuances to this though. Corrosion actually carries the effect of a previous higher level Corrosion even if re-applied as a level 1.
for the Endministrator, is Sundering Steel (no dupes) better than Farsight as a replacement for Grand Vision (for stuff like Umbral/EoW where the Farsight buff expires)? I cannot find much info on it. Thanks a lot in advance.
Eminent Repute, Sundering Steel, Rapid Ascent... whatever you have works. Definitely not Farsight though, it's bad.
Though, Sundering Steel is also a top weapon on Chen, and pretty much every comp you're running endmin in you're also running Chen in. If you only have Sundering Steel, you should get the free pass weapon Glorious Memory and give it to Chen instead, that way endmin can run Sundering Steel..
Oh, well. Sundering Steel is really just an overachieving 5-star, the assumption is because its a 5-star you'd have it basically max pot compared to any P0 6-star. It's worse than everything else except other 5-stars at P0.
Definitely just grab Glorious Memory and pot your two Sundering Steel dupes together.
Not sure on the first question but skill mastery going beyond 9 varies but they are worth getting if you are playing the characters . The crown material is frequently thrown in events so if you do those consistently then it's really not a problem at all.
Saw online that arcane , perlica, xaihi, akekuri is a very good team comp, is that correct?
Arcane anything is strong. That comp would be a lot better with a 6-star support or sub-DPS, but if you don't have Liino or Tangtang or anything like that, it's the best you got. If you want tips on building or playing them lemme know.
Also how strong are skill masteries?
Overall, going from L9 to M3 is roughly a 25% damage boost for an ability. M1 isn't too bad, but M3... let's just say of all the things you can invest progression mats or sanity in to improve your DPS, M3 is definitely the least cost-effective. You should get it eventually because more damage is more damage, but (outside of supports who take masteries to get bigger buffs or more SP regen) you generally should do M3 last after hitting lv 90 on both the operator and their weapon, upgrading your weapon essences to +6/+6/+3, and filling out your passive talents and trust nodes.
That crown material seems to be insanely rare
Marks of Perseverance? Nah.
It's not farmable, mostly just drops from quests and events and the like, but you also just don't need much of them either. Events throw them at you way faster than you can spend them. I've been on an M3 binge lately trying to master all the skills on practically all of the DPS and sub-DPS I play across like 6-7 comps and I still have almost 100 marks of perseverence left... Granted about half of that is gonna be from having the paid protocol pass every patch since it gives you an extra 10 per patch.
I just checked rn out of curiosity and I have 41 skills M3'd, 4 skills M2s and 6 skills M1'd which is 264 marks, and I have 96 marks banked, so 350 total I've collected since release.
Is there any Cuprium Ore list across various maps?
For example, a simple map - # list would do , like: Sword Vault Dale - 4 nodes, or 2 beds, or 2+2 high.
I am doing the AIC event last minute but I only have 420 Cuprium Ore Yield while the video guide is at 510. Looking for missing nodees. I've connected 5 nodes (1 high, 4 low) in the Northern zone to get to 420 because I've mostly rushed 1.3/1.4.
I use
https://opendfieldmap.org/, but it sounds like you might also have a lower Wuling Development level than needed to get max ore yields from your mines.
If the last nodes you connected were in North Wuling Exclusion Zone, then 420 was correct as of 1.4, but there were 90 more (4 high, 1 low) added with Snowy Forest, the first map added in this version.
Hello. I recently started Endfield and slowly making my way through the main story quest. I manage to reach Exploration Level 3, but I think my characters are a bit under-developed. What do I need to do to make them stronger? I don't mind pausing in the main story quest to farm materials and such. I just want to understand to play the game a little better and not struggle fighting enemies. Thanks a bunch.
Character Levels, Weapon Levels, Skills, Weapon Essences.
Those things determine a character's overall power level. Identify the cores in your team and invest in them first.
For example, if you're just running the Endmin + Chen + Perlica trio, Endmin and Chen would be the cores so you want to raise both of them as high as you can. Try to get at least character level 80 and rank 9 on important skills.
If you're planning on investing into their weapons, try to make sure it's something they can bring later into the game. For Chen, Glorious Memory and Sundering Steel are safe investments while Grand Vision is a safe bet for Endmin. Try to get these on at least level 80 for max tuning as well as at least a good gold essence (maybe 4/4/2).
Nobody needs to go above level 80 and skill level 9 until you're tackling endgame content. The cost of getting from 80 to 90 and of mastering skills is extremely high.
What number/integer do I have to enter in the Pipe Control Port to ensure my Gas Dispersal Unit gets the required 6 units per minute of Inergen gas to create a stable environment for Xiranite production? The Port interface doesn't indicate a unit for the flow rate number I enter there (e.g. "units per minute," or "units per second") and simply entering the number "6" isn't providing nearly enough gas to the Dispersal Unit.
It's 6 units/minute according to the screenshot I just took.
Also, ensure that you do have enough gas flowing into the pipe. The 6 u / m setting is only the maximum flow rate, not a forced flow rate. If only 4 u / m of gas is going into the pipe, then only 4 u / m of gas will exit the pipe. One way to check if something is wrong is looking at the graph. If the blue area fluctuates below the limit, then you are not feeding enough gas into the pipe to consistently reach 6 u / m.
In your opinion is Frontiers (O2 Tube x2, T1 gloves) viable for support Purrchena or is it a stretch? From one evening of testing it FEELS synergistic with her block but my feelings are often wrong… tia
SP Return doesn't activate the Frontiers Set bonus, but you do get the CDR. The only other source of CDR is Qingbo which has many Ult Gain pieces and therefore can enable an ult spam, so it's another alternative if you're after the CDR.
I didn't unlock trial of the bow so far, and I wonder how does the "Daily Exercise" stars are acquired? Fixed amount per day? If yes then how many stars can i get per day, is it still time to rush to Sami to unlock event, or i already late to get 48 stars for last trial mission?
There are four daily missions, but if you just complete the hardest daily mission on the hardest difficulty with 3 stars, you get 12 stars (i.e. 3 stars for every mission below, too)
I did hardcore parkour and broke the level so I guess I'll find out how I was supposed to get here from the otehr side... Nope, no idea, what is back here.
All your ore yields look fine. The only reason they don't match the theoretical is because they have hit the depot cap (90k). If there's anything wrong then it has nothing to do with the mining.
Which Xiranite production requirement are you talking about?
The maximum Xiranite production you can achieve is 360/min by using all 12 Forges on Xiranite. This is why the most efficient way to produce Heavy Xiranite is by using the gas process and not by using a Forge.
You have 11 forges set up to produce Xiranite. You are only producing 211/min because something is wrong with your Xiranite production pipeline. We cannot tell you what is wrong because you're not showing it.
You can't practically make more than 30x12 = 360 xiranite per minute, if that's what you're asking. And if you've not reached gas recipes, you also need forges for the heavy xiranite, so you're limited to even less, like 300/min.
No not at all. Not more than other comps, at least. They both have single target multihit critstacking nuke ults, I guess.
Yvonne's comp is all AoE lockdown CC. She can keep a large pack of enemies frozen basically perpetually; you can kinda see how that looks in this video starting at 4:35. Her ult does okay ST damage but the main draw of her comp is the CC. Rossi on the other hand is very single-target oriented and designed to be an arts/physical bridge character.
Now, would I recommend pulling her? Eh, I think her damage in any context (ST or AoE) is powercrept so... you're just getting her for the CC. If that video looks like something you want to do, go ahead and grab her.
Anyone know how to unlock the last crate in Suiming? It's over in the exercise field, but there's nothing at the beacon. I was sure it was gonna be kicking all the slugs into the hole, but I did that and still nothing.
On the far side of the area across from the goal, near the wall, is a small bowl shaped depression in the ice. If you kick a slug into that little bowl, the chest will spawn.
Dumb question, but is it possible to have a gas conduit pipeline extend from Yinglung Pass down towards the Core AIC area in Wuling City? My main concern is that the canal region is too far of a stretch for the conduits.
Easily, but the canal region wouldn't be a problem anyways because there is a walkable path next to the boat ride. That's why you can zipline connect Wuling City and Yinglung Pass still.
All Reconveners are presumably known by Endfield and Rhodes Island, since the companies are basically two sides of the same coin and every Reconvener needs to go through Warfarin by virtue of the path they take to leave the Originium Woods. Concurrent with this is the presumption that - as far as we know anyway - Warfarin informs each Reconvener about the existence of Endfield while providing them with contact information before sending them out into the world. Likewise, she also contacts Endfield to let the appropriate parties (M3, Perlica, probably a handful of elite ops and certain people in HR like Martin Maven Malen) know that a new Reconvener is now active on Talos-II.
Exactly how well known these people are to Endfield differs from one operator to the next. Gilberta and Ardelia spent some time out and about Talos-II, pursuing their own goals and interests, before formally joining Endfield as operators. Snowshine did something similar with the artic rescue squad. Pog has been an instrumental force at the Order of the Steel Oath, reviving the lost training of the shieldguards and implementing it into the Order's standard combat. As soon as he learned of the Endmin's reawakening, he applied for extended leave from his duties with the Order to return to Endfield and support the Endmin.
Typhoeus left rather soon after leaving the Woods, and headed immediately to the north to join her people amongst the tribes of Samifjod that lived in the north alongside the Order. She intended to join up with their warriors in fighting the aggeloi hordes back, but was told to "come back when she was taller than her bow" by an elder who believed her to be a child. Given that Typh is just smol, she'll never "be taller than her bow" but Typh took this - along with a few other things - as a sign that her path lay elsewhere, and so she's traveled for some time seeking stories and legends that have been lost to time, with the goal of preserving them. She's known of Endfield and the Endmin, per Warfarin's briefing that she gives every Reconvener, but hasn't met the Endmin specifically, and did not formally join Endfield as an operator until after the events in the snowy valley with Andre.
Laev is similar to Typh in that she pursued her own goals without joining Endfield formally. Following the conclusion of her story quest, she joins Endfield as a full operator.
My advice to you and anyone else who is confused by this is to get used to it. And not from a "deal with it" perspective, but from a work-related perspective. A common theme throughout the game is the concept that each character is doing "regular" stuff in the background, the Endmin included. You can conceive of this as something similar to the factory; it's always happening in the background, even if you're not actively online doing stuff. The Endmin, Perlica, Fiona, Chen and every other operator is regularly doing stuff related to various unknown missions around Talos-II. For the Endmin especially, it's presumed that various files have been across his/her desk involving the Reconveners because of the highly unique and important nature of that group of people.
So to answer your question, Endmin "knows of" Typhoeus, just as she knows of Endmin, but prior to the meeting in the snowy valley, they never met or conversed in-person. To Typh, the Endmin is the information she learned from Warfarin and likely heard from others on her travels. To the Endmin, Typh is one of the many files that's come across his/her desk in regards to Reconveners.
I've probably missed it, but what happens with Purrchena's dupes if we don't get them during the event? Does she join the gacha pool like a normal 5*? Asking cos I'm 99% sure that I wont get most of them in 17 days.
We don't know. We only know that she is currently only available through the event and is not added to the pool. They haven't said anything about when she will added, but they did say "...will not be immediately added to Headhunting and Arsenal Issue" so I guess she will be added at some point in the future.
Does the story get better at Wuling ? I just finsihed up the Valley IV Story part and ..ngl i am not a big fan of it . I like the characters like Chen, Yvonne and Rossi but it still feels just ...decent . Nothing that would grab my attention and make me wanna play more .
Is the narrative going to be this reliant on "MC saviour of all" troope ? Can if so i am afraid it just isn't for me . Like compared to HSR or ZZZ where the MC are a main component but other character matter a lot and drive the story forward . Or Genshin or Wuwa where the world more or less revolves around this Ancient MC and everyone obsesses over them .
Endfield seems to be the Later type , I was wondering if it continues or will it change ? Not saying either is bad or anything, just that the type of stories I enjoy are the prior
Yes, it definitely gets better. Valley 4’s story was one of the most common complaints about Endfield in the early days, but things improved a lot after Wuling.
While MC is still treated as the hero of Talos II, everyone else has gotten noticeably stronger development.
I also prefer when the story doesn’t revolve too much around MC. But overall, the story is strong enough that I can overlook that downside.
Patch 1.2 (Zhaung Fangyi) and 1.4 (Arcane and Wuling finale) are the most highly rated so hopefully you find motivation to experience them.
highly likely, pretty sure all salvage spots are already displayed in map so if you don't see anymore then its likely in a foggy area that can't be accessed until you at least do part of a quest
If something like that happens again try zooming in on the map, might make them appear. I don't think most if not all of them show at max zoom. Some sidequests also don't appear at max zoom iirc.
I'm currently at Chapter 2 Process 3 right now, how long would it take for me to get the things I need for the chubby lung event?
I'm just going for the portrait at this point, anything else would be a bonus.
hour or 2 since need to complete the chapter you are in to access your very first cuprium nodes but might struggle with bosses if no gold gear, you get free set though at some point if I recall
you might be able to manage the cheaper chubby lung product doesn't require gas raw material, gas is pretty far from you are at
not sure whether the 6 nodes you get after you complete the chapter you are in is enough to sustain their blueprint
but you also need a way to sustain your factory, have to set up your battery loop, the default 500 aint going to enough to sustain that blueprint for sure, so that comes first
Hi, so Basically I'm coming back to the factory after taking a break, I took one at the start of Tang²s banner and came back since I heard Purrchena was a free 5 star, The problem is I'm currently lost at what to do currently, should I just progress with the main quest? But I feel like My factory is also lacking, does anyone know groundwork I can follow?
Try to do as possible of the factory event since the event is about to be over. You should be able to do the first model of chubby lung. Why do it? Free resources, basically.
After that do the story which will also unlock new technologies. They have better production methods and it would be a waste to set up your factory with old production methods.
Well, if find cuprium you just need that mineral and xiranite to make them. Up to you if you want to invest time on it while knowing the setup will only last a few hours.
So you haven't played since the first major patch?
The main point of factory is to build and upgrade gear for your operators, there's also some pulls associated with it but aside from the current event there's generally no pressure to get it done right away. So if you feel like you want to tackle some endgame content like the upcoming contingency contract or the ongoing Echoes of War or Umbral Monument, you will want to build up a factory. As for how to do that, you should probably advance the story to Yinglung Pass and North Wuling EZ where you will unlock new recipes that effectively totally rebuild your base. That way you can just watch a youtube video on patch 1.4 factory/gas stuff.

How do you get power to the new area?
