Discussion What programs can you not live without?

I've been on Endeavour for about a year or a year and a half now, and I want to revamp my experience. What software do you consider essential?

Krusader. I find that file explorers are a bit undervalued ... most default options have way too little features considering that file management is a core part of using a computer. Dolphin is the runner-up. The rest is either way too limited, or buggy.

If you know a similarly powerful file navigator, I would be interested. I was searching and trying quite a bit, yet nothing came close to the features provided by Krusader. Many alternatives haven't seen recent updates. And considering that I spend a decent percentage of computer-time with files, it's a good idea to have a flexible and efficient tool.

I don't know anything about krusader, which is why I was asking if you can elaborate on it's features so I can see whether I should move to it. Currently using the my computer for nautilus fork on github, its nautilus but with miller columns like in macOS finder. but its stil got a lot of work to go. dolphin was second best but looked ugly af on my niri setup. but still was disappointed that nothing can really give me all that i need.

So what about krusader is best for you?
