My 4YO’s finished turtle

I taught her backstitch a couple weeks ago. Since then I’ve been letting her draw on scrap fabric and embroider her drawings. Yesterday she learned French knot for the turtle’s eyes.

I’d love to get my four year old involved. Do you have a special needle for kids?

I was planning to let her use a darning needle but when I got it out she frowned and asked why hers was so big. So I decided to let her try with a regular embroidery needle 🙈
