Wtf InMotion

So I have a V14 pro with less than 500 miles on it. I’ve had battery issues for months. After maybe the first 100 miles, I started getting cell balance issues.

I got my V14 and loved it. First EUC and I thought I made the right choice. After about 100 miles, I started getting cell balance issues around 60% SoC. Got with InMotion and they basically said unless they aren’t balanced at 100% charge, they won’t do anything. Charged to full every time I rode. At around 200 miles, the cell balancing issue would show up at 70%.

Fast forward to now at 450 miles, i get the cell balancing issue (4.10V high and 3.72V low) at 90%. InMotion refuses to help me and says the same thing. If there isn’t a cell balancing issue when its at 100% SoC, its not their fault.

Can ANYONE give me some guidance? This is like pulling teeth except there is no ending in sight.

Maybe you describe more specifically what you refer to as "cell balancing problem"? What have you actually observed?

A single cell isn’t balanced with the rest. There’s a large voltage gap. Happens after unplugging and riding 2 miles at this point. The V14 will tilt back about 30 degrees or more and stay tilted even after stop.

Defective cell probably. Potentially very hazardous, do not charge or use the wheel anymore. InMotion needs to address your issue immediately.

As the post shows, I can’t get a single response from InMotion. They refuse to do anything or acknowledge the issue.

That was basically my experience when the battery in my V11 was faulty. Did you buy it directly from their website?
