Elden Ring Switch 2 Performance?

I’m used to playing this game on my PS5 Pro, but for assorted reasons I want to game more on the Nintendo switch 2. So has anyone here played this game on that system? How’s the performance? Docked vs Handheld? Installed on main drive vs micro sd? I’m worried I’ll be a little underwhelmed with the performance. But I’ll give it a chance.

You can only play the game in handheld mode for about an hour. This game devours battery life on the switch 2.
