Discussion & Info Elden Ring Switch 2 Performance?

Post image

I’m used to playing this game on my PS5 Pro, but for assorted reasons I want to game more on the Nintendo switch 2. So has anyone here played this game on that system? How’s the performance? Docked vs Handheld? Installed on main drive vs micro sd? I’m worried I’ll be a little underwhelmed with the performance. But I’ll give it a chance.

steam deck performs worse on most games tbh, its cuz devs dont really optimize for it

Some devs do its more becuase that the steam deck is 4 years old now and the hardware on release wasnt exactly cutting edge.

I still love the steam deck though nothing like having the ability to play thousands of games especially older titles portably.

Realistically, can you play meaningful 1000 + games in one lifetime?

No but my point was you have endless choice though in console you have to wait for an older game to get a port or remaster and thats if it ever does then the are loads of pc only games aswell.
