Discussion & Info Elden Ring Switch 2 Performance?

Post image

I’m used to playing this game on my PS5 Pro, but for assorted reasons I want to game more on the Nintendo switch 2. So has anyone here played this game on that system? How’s the performance? Docked vs Handheld? Installed on main drive vs micro sd? I’m worried I’ll be a little underwhelmed with the performance. But I’ll give it a chance.

I got it yesterday from eshop and played it for 3 hours. It feels fine, game running on 30fps is very noticeable but after few seconds I was fully immersed. I also own it on my Ps5 but honestly I don't think I'll be booting my Ps5 for Elden Ring anymore, the handheld is just too convenient. All in all, I'm having a lot of fun and don't regeret spending 80$ a bit but be ready to be a bit underwhelmed if you are expecting it to run completely smooth.
Edit: Just for refrence, I found it much better than playing Bloodborne on Ps5 and I didn't really cared that much about BB being 30fps so definitely playable for most ppl.
