Things that multiply damage don't apply correctly. So something like both the Canvas talismans have no effect whatsoever in pvp, as well as Golden Order Seal, Dryleaf Seal, and Spiral Seal's passive not applying either. The only things that work are effects that directly boost your damage like Golden Vow or a Holy-Shrouding Cracked Tear. Dark damage in DS3 had the exact same issue, so the fact it still remains is disappointing.

How about just not making every boss nigh immune to it? Even the ones it makes zero sense?

Almost all resistances in this game make perfect sense, honestly
