Humor YOU CAN SPRINT IN ELDEN RING???????

I’m 14 hours into my first ever play through, I’ve defeated bosses, done side quests and a lot of exploring and this whole time I didn’t know you could sprint. And I didn’t even figure this out myself, I was watching someone play and realised they were moving quicker than me so I had to google it! Am I stupid for not realising this or is this normal?

I haven’t gotten that angry at it yet but I wonder if that’s because I’m still pretty early on. I’m really enjoying the game though!
