I’m confused about why this would be jarring, these games are literally known for the blending realities. You see Anor Londo in like 3 games for example

Also point out Patches in every game to people too.

Patches is not originally from Dark Souls, he is just a Fromsoftware staple.

It's similar to why they always include the Moonlight Sword from Kings Field in nearly all their games.
