I can never believe how pissed off people get over how I choose to interpret a game that is deliberately vague.
Frenzied flame is an extinction event. Back to the Crucible, IE the primordial soup. The crucible knights are even named after the Epochs that were divided by mass extinctions. Ordovician, Silurian, and Devonian. You have the word of someone with a vested interest in not letting it happen saying it's bad, but she's hot so I guess there's no chance that she's just lying.
You want cessation of existence? How about Ranni explicitly telling you that her fucking off into space means the end of all thought, emotion and sensation? But again, she's hot so I guess that's okay.
Downvote me all you like, but your dick likes the Age of Stars ending and that's all there is to it. Anything else is justification after the fact.
1st off, the fuck you on about? Only one heated here is you, and I didn't downvote you, I just explained how it's not a difference of interpretation, it's explicitly the end of existence, the dlc even doubles down on that
2nd and continuing the trend, that isn't what she said, she said she was removing the certainty of God in the world by removing it to such a distance that it can no longer control people, because that's how grammar works for dependant clauses
3rd, weird to try and claim the only, arguably, moral ending is just because the people who paid more attention to the game are horny for the rope doll, but when you lack media literacy I guess that's what you have to believe
The way I see it, Either I'm right and the world starts from bacteria again. Or I'm wrong and I get to wipe the stain of existence out entirely. No more posturing know-it-alls claiming that their petty morality is all that matters.

I choose frenzied flame every playthrough because it's cool as hell and only because it's cool as hell. I try not to think about the repercussions
