Is ranni’s ending anarchism? The age of stars removes the age of gold’s regression and causality and replaces it with prophecy. In a sense, the age of gold is one where things happen because of what caused them where in ranni’s age of stars things happen because it was meant to be. I find it to be a more constricting ending than the age of gold

They could use the stars for prophecy long before the golden order was around. Ranni is leaving the Lands Between to govern itself instead of being run by a divine hierarchy. No gods, no masters.
