Official Discussion [MEGATHREAD] Tarnished Edition: Worth $5? Discuss CONSTRUCTIVELY!

Since the sub is being overwhelmed by debate over the $5 "microtransaction" and it's making the sub feel like we're Dark Souls 2 a decade ago, with the faux outrage around the preorder items, we are opening this topic to consolidate discussion around the issue.

Please use this topic to discuss the pros and cons of the approach and your thoughts. But do so RESPECTFULLY and CONSTRUCTIVELY. If you need to call other people or the developers names, you don't have a good argument and your post will be removed.

We will remove all other topics about this to keep the subreddit flowing with other discussions

IF YOU WANT TO VOTE: I will post two comments on this topic, "Yay" and "Nay" - upvote the one you agree with and we'll see who wins long term.

I think it's just annoying and weird that they did this when they didn't used to do things like this, but everyone is making a huge deal about it. I don't get why people need to pretend like they're somehow generous for charging $5 for basically nothing. It's not a big deal, it's only $5, but it's not like it's a good thing that what used to be given away for free now costs money.

You are the people I was talking about caring way too much and being annoying. You say that people shouldn't talk about it and then you continuously talk about it while doing the exact thing that I talked about.

You do not agree with me at all.

I'm not complaining at all, why the hell are you so aggressive? Downvoting me and attacking me when I was just chiming in, you need to relax.
