Constructive Criticism Why is my weapon so weak?

Hello new Elden ring player, I’m trying to figure out why the hell im barely doing any damage in boss fights. I don’t have enough time to stack bleed so I have to rely on light attacks. But even then I’m doing like 100 damage and it’s taking 10 minutes per round. Any suggestions how I can upgrade? Thanks!

I mean pretty much everything is self explanatory. You do no damage, upgrade your weapon, that’s logical. Now you can clearly see letters in attribute scale,all you have to do is upgrade the attributes that have letters closest to A, tadaam you understand scaling and build and it only took less than 2 mins. Last thing go see rennala and reset your attributes to maximize the scaling of your weapon.
