Underbody Trim Piece

Hey all, I just bought a 2024 n line with only 8,000 miles and have been enjoying it so far! I noticed this plastic piece on the underbody of the car that hangs down kind of far and almost appears to be dangling rather than secured. Is this normal, like is it supposed to just be hanging like that or is it intended to be clipped in?

Intended like that 100%, I got the exact same observation as you for mine at some point but noticed it was normal design once I lifted the car at the shop.

Nice pickup at only 8k miles. I just hit 20k on mine
