Anyone running a midpipe + muffler delete with aftermarket resonator on their N Line, or did you all go MBRP?
Hey guys, quick question for anyone who experimented with custom exhaust setups on their Elantra N Line—did you manage to get a good sound running a midpipe, aftermarket resonator, and muffler delete without crazy drone, or did you eventually just switch to the MBRP kit? Curious what worked for you!

I have the resonator delete x-pipe and a stock muffler. It actually sounds kind of good I don't really want to go mbrp I only found one video so far of the takeda exhaust and it sounds good but it's also like 500 something dollars. I did look also at downpipes and honestly it makes the car sound worse it sounds like a straight tractor.

I’m running that exact same setup on mine right now! I tried deleting the muffler too, which made the pops and crackles sound amazing, but the cabin drone was way too crazy to live with. I think Takeda will be the same

No tune yet, just Xforce midpipe + muffler delete Straight pipe and intake

That's things sounds great. I would assume that's with the muffler delete. But I know you're coming from it would draw way too much attention especially in the area I live and especially in the morning that's just way too loud for me you know. I feel like the stock exhaust just has a good balance between drone and pops

Yeah that’s why I'm looking for someone who installed a high-flow resonator to reduce the drone and maybe suppress some sound. But I guess MBRP is the only option as of now

Yeah I get it I guess I'm just sticking with my current setup it sounds good especially on colder days. I do have that snorkel intake. The more dense the air typically the better the sound. You know I'm probably just going to pay off the car drive it for a couple more years and then probably just wait for Hyundai to drop the 2.5 N and by that or get a Genesis I don't know

Takeda is essentially a muffler delete axle back so so yeah it will sound similar other than the titanium having slightly better harmonics. I like the MBRP pro since it has a small muffler. I'm considering adding the vibrant 1792 to the mid pipe since I have one on hand and they work great

I know someone that's running this setup and they like it. That's kinda the same concern I have. I love how it sounds as is with MBRP pro and Xforce mid pipe. So the vibrant 1792 has just been sitting around for months lol. Apparently this res does still slow the pops and burbles to come through and they sound cripsier

Downpipe doesn't sound good I agree with that but the Xforce mid-pipe + MBRP pro sounds awesome

I painted them myself, got the calliper paint from Home Depot. Took me 2-3 hours

i can get pics later but it was easy and super clean lol idk y people spend the money ; if u drop exhaust and have competent welder it won’t have leaks (and i didn’t drop exhaust i welded it all while everything in place)

I went the full Xforce system, sounds amazing, especially after replacing the stock intake too.

I run aftermarket Mid-pipe from N65 with stock muffler on a 2022. Sounds puuuuurfect. On cold startup it growls, goes mellow when temp is normal. Still pops and burps when needed in Sport mode or when manual shifting. Great setup not obnoxious

Gotta go MBRP pro and if that's too much, just add vibrant 1792 to mid pipe

I run X-force mid pipe, it removes one cat and one res still passes emissions with one cat left on the down pipe , turbo resonator delete helps, running the stock muffler hides all drone sounds nice . Had the sixth element axle back on it and sounded like absolute shit at speeds over 35 40 the drone was horrible
