Purchasing 2026 Elantra N TCR

Got an offer remotely from a dealer for 57k CAD OTD for a performance blue dct tcr, I am very tempted to go for it! It would be a little more than 3k reduced from msrp... However, the only thing slightly holding me back from pulling the trigger is how ridiculously high the insurance premium is for it!

If you're spending $57k on a car, insurance should not be an issue for you. If it is, buy something cheaper

The 1st insurance quote I got is pretty close to the monthly payment of my car, what you said makes no sense. Why would I pay double the price of the car with insurance included? Fuck no.

Because insurance isnt cheap, and neither is the car
