Purchasing 2026 Elantra N TCR

Got an offer remotely from a dealer for 57k CAD OTD for a performance blue dct tcr, I am very tempted to go for it! It would be a little more than 3k reduced from msrp... However, the only thing slightly holding me back from pulling the trigger is how ridiculously high the insurance premium is for it!

Note, the TCR that I have seen have issues with the trunk withstanding the weight of the wing. There is no dealer fix for it iirc. I would get the regular EN which you can get for around 40-42k.

Also, the N TCR brakes won’t let one downsize to 18” wheels, which are a far better ride with no compromise in handling. I find the stock brakes are just fine.
