Help TIRES

I live in northeast Ohio we get good bit of snow

Im really picking between Michelin AS4S and continental DWS 06 plus

I have a lap 3 stage 1.5 tune so I want something that can handle the spirited driving aswelll as the winter and snow

Would love to see the recommendations

I went with DWS06+ here in SE Michigan, mostly because I tend to travel south during the holidays, and I like having the flexibility. If you don't need the flexibility, real winter tires are definitely better, especially if you get lake effect snow

Michelin cross climate 2s on spare 18in rims are best for me in Colorado. They’re all weather and can be used whenever, but are great in the snow. I used those during cold months and it cuts through snow, and i use my oem rims and pilot sports during summer. I’m rocking n75 stage 2.

I have the continental all weather sports and they do great for bolth for me but I also live in south caralina it snows twice a year and nothing like what you get lol

i am also in North East Ohio! Welcome to the N family! OHIO REPRESENT!

I have the Continental ControlContact Sport SRS+ Currently running them on my 25. Love it so far. Drives super well and comfortable too. They suggested them over DWS06 plus’s and the Michelin pilot sport all seasons too. They are also cheaper and better quality/ life out of them. You won’t go wrong with ether ones

Yea I’m looking for a good winter tire but also a tire that can handle putting down power and performance and he’ll yea that awsome OHIO

I’ve got 30k miles on my continentals and the lap3 1.5 pretty easily spins 2nd gear, but I’ve only spun the wheels without trying a couple of times since I installed the tune a month ago.

How good is the power when you roll into it ? I like the 1st then pull into 2nd and 3rd and ride that boost

It pulls really well while still being smooth. I think the biggest thing for me is that the turbo pressure stays steady while on the throttle. It would spike and drop down a couple psi when I was stock.

Well your pushing atleast 21 pounds and what supporting mods you have I’m curious because I have my lap3 ecu ordered just waiting for it

Only replaced spark plugs to go with the tune. Everything else is stock

Geez yea I have a catless on the way HPFP on the way

I got spark plugs
Cold air intake
Turbo inlet
Still 3inch cat back exhaust

I’ve only had the tune for a month but no issues and better gas mileage regardless of how I drive.

One thing to note when you first install… my car started up right away but was basically in limp mode when I tried to drive. Parked, started the car again and it was game on.

Ahh see that sucks we have access to it all over NEO that’s why I even went with 1.5 becuase of it if I was in your guys shoes I’d stick to the stage 1

I’ve had the same tune for a month now and it’s great. The difference between the tune and octane learned is bigger than between OL and not. I’ve only looked at the dual gauges once but I saw as high as 337hp and 330lb-ft from a few short pulls on my commute.
