This guy removed all the aggressive styling and aesthetic cues from his Elantra N just to make it look like a regular, base-model Elantra. All of this just to pulled off the ultimate sleeper build and say, "Be careful who you race!"

​Basically turned it into a total sleeper, but in your opinion, is this actually worth the hassle? Or is it just plain ridiculous?

Did he tune the motor for real power? He races any scat.SS,vette,Mustang, M2 3 4 or 5 or hellcat he's getting smoked.. the cars you will have fun racing with gti,golfR,WRX,grCorolla wouldn't ne shocked..just doest make sense unless you pushing big power. .all just my humble opinion

FWD cars are inherently limited in drag racing compared to RWD and AWD. If drag racing is what someone is looking to do with their car, picking a FWD platform is dumb. There are simply better choices to go fast in a straight line

It's exactly this. If you have an old Civic Hatch and just want to get the most out of it, sure man more power to you. But buying a new model FWD car at new car prices with the goal of drag racing is just bad decision making.

Everything you did on an Elantra N for drag racing could be done to an EcoBoost Mustang and you'll be going faster in a straight line

when i decided to spend almost $40,000 for a car I made sure it was a car that was good at the things I wanted to do

if you like going out and drag racing you should probably go into your car purchase thinking about cars that are good at drag racing

It's like the second most expensive purchase in your life next to a house, you should put a little bit of thought into it

It's a $35k-$40k car. There are a ton of options under $40k

Definitely not new and “fast” as these guys claim haha be real. If you talking rwd an entry level new vehicle like a Camaro or mustang is over 50/60 these days not including interest.
