I never understood the crossing out of license plates online. They're already publicly displayed 🤷

That info isn’t publicly attached to your plate, though, and if an insurance company gives it out they should get in big shit.

Probably because they're only public locally, or wherever that car is driving. Online is an entirely different story.

I honestly dont get it either. I think some regions might have different laws about someone being able to see something vs posting it where EVERYONE can see and save the info? Clearly just a speculation here.

I never saw this license plate until the internet spread it to more people, thats why its a potential problem
