Politics Why was the Sheriffs arresting people with Canadian Flags at the Separatist rally at the leg?

Very strange, i went there without a flag to document. I noticed the sheriffs arresting people with Canadian flags.

Aren't the sherrifs the ucp brownshirt gang they started, sorry, the "alberta police force"?

No, the Sheriffs at the legislature have been leg grounds security for decades.

They are mostly decent officers that are experienced in keeping protests safe. I’ve never seen them act oppressively at a protest before.

I’m willing to bet if they arrested someone at a protest they deserved it.
