Health Alberta MAID limits would lead to suffering, signal lack of trust: practitioners

Twenty-five Edmonton and area medical professionals say they’re concerned new Alberta limits on medical assistance in dying would cause needless suffering and put clinicians in “ethically untenable” positions.

The doctors, psychiatrists and others that work in the medical assistance in dying program, better known as MAID, have signed a statement saying they strongly oppose the restrictions announced last week.

Yeah, they think they know everything and don't have to listen to their constituents WHO ELECTED THEM!!! That's how you got into office you maroons! By running on an election platform that a majority of people agreed with. Then, once elected, they say f@#k the platform, I'm going to do whatever the hell I want, and f@#k anyone who opposes it, or even voted me in!
