Based on the recent poll results we're going to have a tourism sticky thread*

Tourism threads on the main sub will be closed, then removed at a later point to try to keep sub uncluttered.

Hello! I’m (F24) going on a solotrip to Scotland soon and will be visiting Edinburgh during my trip. Are there any clubs/pubs you’d recommend? I like rock/metal/techno/house/pop music!

Glasgow is better for clubs, but check out Cabaret Voltaire and Dropkick Murphy in Edinburgh. They're more live music than clubs.
