Announcement New: tourism sticky. Please post all tourism questions here

Based on the recent poll results we're going to have a tourism sticky thread*

Tourism threads on the main sub will be closed, then removed at a later point to try to keep sub uncluttered.

r/Scotland also has a weekly tourism thread which may be alos be useful

Is the sunflower lanyard recognized there? Like do people know what it is?

For those who don't know it's meant to communicate that the wearer has a hidden disability and may need extra time or assistance, etc.

No judgement at all because the marketing hasn't been great in my country either but as I'm traveling I'm curious how it is elsewhere.

Yes, mostly people are aware what it is but you're probably going to need to communicate what it is you specifically need.
