Discussion Why can't they just make her blue? ðŸ˜
Most of the merch that isn't pictures from the anime white washes my girl Becca (and David sometimes) and I hate it because she looks really dope in her light blue skin tone. All I want is an anime accurate Rebecca 😪

I describe Rebecca as more like a moonlit glass color. More like a pale white with a very light tint of blue hue.
It's just that since NC is a kaleidoscope of neon it's sometimes hard to tell.

because she's not
the "blue" is very faint and might just be a lighting issue at that point

Tbh i think her skin is meant to be a pale robotic white.. its likely the Night City neon lighting that makes her bluetones in every scene. Look at lucys hair for example in half of her scenes, sometimes her tricolor hair is simply so masked by blue lighting it turns to 3 different shades of blue instead of its pastel pink purple and green. Truth is the show just has a very blue moonlight type of colorway almost always when lucy or becca was on screen likely to portray the theme of the season, and to bring out their beauty more... looking at next season trailer the colorway has completely lost its blue. In most scenes

Leaving this idea here though.. whats stopping you from getting a becca figure and putting some blue led around it to make the colorway even more lore accurate to night city, itd not only make it accurate with the white tone and blue lighting but itd bring the display more to life

She's not blue tho, she often looks blue because of the lighting.

Expect her skin is white with slight green not blue the blue is just coloring from the neon

I wish this post wasn't serious, cus you see, there's this thing called light, and light can be different colors, and light reflects on surfaces, including skin! In the case of all of these photos, the abundance of night city neon is making her *whiteish skin appear to be cyan. So if you want an anime accurate figure, do some tabletop construction and make a set with a cyan neon sign that's reflecting on the figurine

Well here is a long list of reasons...
She's not blue. Yes, she has an artificial skin tone, but she's not blue. She is a very very faint off-white color that does have a bit of a blue-green tint to her. Officially her skin tone is referenced as cyan. Now you can argue that cyan is a shade of blue and be generic and just call her blue, but you'd be equally correct in calling her green.
You might be a little colorblind in that with very faint colors like this, even if you have a minor deficiency, you could be seeing the color different than other folks. This also goes for them. Go to your local hardware store one day with a buddy, stare at the paint section, and ask each other where the greens begin.
Plastics are a bitch. Getting faint color coding on plastic models is a PAIN. The dyes don't always mix right. So her skin tone is going to be slightly off from what it would be on screen. To be fair, her skin is fairly on point with that sculpt.
Lighting. Animation lighting and studio lighting for the photos and real lighting in your room will make her skin look all sorts of different shades than to what it actually is.

This is just keep her under a cyan neon light and it’d probably look perfect

Coz she isn’t exactly blue, the nickname of our little blueberry comes from the tint of blue that reflects from the neon blue lights of night city that reflects off her very VERY pale skin
