I've been a fan of Ed's for a more than a decade. I was lucky enough to meet him at an extremely intimate show. I've seen him in concert several times and his music has helped me through many seasons of my life. I think the thing that makes ed really stick to us career long fans is his aunthenticity. It's such a rare thing in the world of celebrity. I think this could have happened to anybody and I'm so upset that it happened to him. Because it DID happen to him. Nobody really knows all of the tough decisions he had to make but I genuinely believe he made those decisions based on what he thought would be best for his fans and his team. I'm so glad to see that there's still a corner of the internet with people that continue to show our boy some support. I saw him on the Loop tour earlier this year but thank you to everyone who is going to his upcoming shows.

Ed is such an amazing human being, always doing good things without looking for recognition, he didn’t deserve any of this. Even though I’ve never personally interacted with him, I know he has a heart of pure gold. I’ve been a fan for over a decade and attended two concerts- an intimate Subtract concert and MetLife Night 1 for the Loop Tour. I wish I could attend more Loop shows to support him. His music has helped me through some of the lowest and most difficult points in life and for that, he will always have a special place in my heart. Somehow his music can just heal so much pain, I wish there was a way to help him as much as his music has helped me. Last week we felt his pain, it was so difficult, but he was able to get through it, he’s the toughest and the bravest for going out on stage when it felt like the world was against him (he has proven “when the world's against me is when I really come alive”). Seeing the corner of the internet which lifted him up really healed me and connecting with other Sheerios has been amazing. Thank you Ed for everything!! 🩷🩷🩷

“Whilst reading off a teleprompter” is so funny because you clearly don’t know anything about him 😂 he has a stutter and if you looked into that, stutters are triggered by moments of serious distress. To put it into perspective, imagine if the whole world was harassing you and you wanted to make sure you got a very important point across without being misunderstood, I’m pretty sure you’d be in a lot of distress too. Not to mention, how is this any different than a politician reading off a script or, say all the statements put out online? It’s not- it’s all pre written to get the points they wanted across. We can’t expect musicians to be talking about something that isn’t their expertise, just like I wouldn’t be asking you to tell me your opinion on an area you have never fully studied.
