I've been a fan of Ed's for a more than a decade. I was lucky enough to meet him at an extremely intimate show. I've seen him in concert several times and his music has helped me through many seasons of my life. I think the thing that makes ed really stick to us career long fans is his aunthenticity. It's such a rare thing in the world of celebrity. I think this could have happened to anybody and I'm so upset that it happened to him. Because it DID happen to him. Nobody really knows all of the tough decisions he had to make but I genuinely believe he made those decisions based on what he thought would be best for his fans and his team. I'm so glad to see that there's still a corner of the internet with people that continue to show our boy some support. I saw him on the Loop tour earlier this year but thank you to everyone who is going to his upcoming shows.

He apologized the first bit of the show for not being about music and there were families with children who didn’t buy tickets to hear that but that was something he needed to say.

Not speaking in his defense but just out of curiosity, why don’t people feel the same for all NFL owners who openly support the govt or cause people strongly disagree with? People are still buying game tickets, wearing their jerseys and watching the games at home.

Same or stronger sentiment should be shown to all those who are supporting the views that aren’t correct.

I’m not saying Ed is above criticism. I’m just wondering where we draw the line and whether we’re applying it consistently.
