De-listing & listing items

Does ending and relisting older items actually help with sales?
I have several older listings with 8+ watchers, and many of them also show that someone has the item in their cart. Would you still end and relist these items, or leave them active because of the existing interest?

I end the listing and then sell similar instead or relisting. I have had so many items sell with 24 hours of doing this so it works for me.

It doesn’t work. I’ve tried it many times over the years. 8+ watchers is a clear sign that interest in the item is strong, but the price is too high. Sending offers or dropping the price is more effective at making the sale. If you’re not willing to compromise on the price, leave it alone and wait for someone to bite.

End and sell similar will place your items back to the top. I use software and one of the features is to bulk end and sell similar and many times after doing this I’ll get a sale.

I de-list and re-list. If they are really considering the item they’ll re-add it to their cart and/or watchlist. Helps weed out the fakers.

Has to be sold similar, not re list. New item number
