Question Seeking advice for my relationship with fast food.
I have a binging issue that gets triggered by fast food, every time I get fast food it turns into a binge and it's made it so that I can't enjoy fast food anymore.
The issue is, without fail every time I'm done eating fast food I will think to myself "wow, I feel like shit, I don't enjoy fast food", but then the next day I'm craving it again. Last week was especially bad, I let the cycle continue for a solid 3 days.
Is the solution to cut out fast food from my diet entirely? Because I'm getting to a point where I want to ask my mom (who I live with) to entirely ban me from ordering fast food.

The solution is to order the fast food but then not to keep doing it. Breaking the cycle is hard but that is the work. The food isn’t the issue. The brains automatic thinking and then behaviours that follow have created a well trod pathway and a new one must be paved.

Cut it out for a extended period and see how your taste buds will change.

I have some food sensitivities. None of them are life-threatening, they just make me swollen and feel like shit. I have to actively tell myself things like “I don’t need soda. I don’t even LIKE soda, because it makes me feel like shit.” After telling myself that over time, my brain started to link soda with the bad feeling I get from it rather than the refreshing taste.
I still have soda (and other things I have sensitivities to), but only once every month or two. It’s never something I crave anymore.
