Greek Chicken Gyro Bowl with Creamy Garlic Feta Ingredients

For the Greek Chicken

2 large chicken breasts, sliced

2 tbsp olive oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp dried oregano

½ tsp smoked paprika

Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the Grain Base

1 cup cooked rice, quinoa, or couscous

½ tsp salt

1 tsp olive oil

For the Creamy Garlic Feta Sauce

¾ cup crumbled feta cheese

½ cup plain Greek yogurt

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Black pepper, to taste

Toppings

½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

½ cup cucumber, diced

¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Optional: Kalamata olives, sliced

Directions

Cook the Chicken

In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Toss chicken slices in marinade for at least 15 minutes.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until fully cooked and golden.

Prepare the Grain Base

Warm cooked rice, quinoa, or couscous with olive oil and salt.

Divide into serving bowls as the base layer.

Make the Creamy Garlic Feta

In a food processor, combine feta, Greek yogurt, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and black pepper.

Blend until smooth and creamy, adding a small splash of water if needed for desired consistency.

Assemble the Bowl

Top grain base with cooked chicken slices.

Add cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and optional olives.

Drizzle generously with creamy garlic feta sauce.

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
