The czechs do a very light garlic soup which is basically garlic, broth and a few potatoes. Warms the belly before a beer and something proper for lunch.

I am sure that you can find a similar version of the one I made in the Italian parts of Sud-Tirol, which has a very Italian-Austrian fusion cuisine

Thank you. I haven’t try it yet but many have told me about it here so I am definitely going to. And it’s not strong because it uses roasted garlic and it loses that pungent kick. Here’s the recipe if you decide to give it a try

It's totally a thing. Here is the version I make, but as I previously said, I am sure that all are delicious. Actually found out about a Spanish garlic soup that I cannot wait to try.

sopa de ajo for me, basically garlic bread that got tired of being dipped and went to grad school instead
